  • BOO!! Hello all – bet you’d thought you seen the last of me!! Sorry it’s been an age since I’ve been on – life has just got in the way! One good thing about my stressful life at the moment is that I’ve lost weight without even trying to! Great news as going on holiday on the 29 of this month. I can pull down my suit trousers without even undoing them!

Haven’t caught up much I’m afraid but:

LW – cutest dog I’ve seen for ages! Enjoy
Toots – glad your home, I sent you an e-mail the other day as I hadn’t realised you had been in hospital so long. Take it easy my lovely
Piggers – seen darling squeak on FB and commented. Glad your feeling better now
Sexym – ouch and double ouch – hope he’s mastered the technique of putting things away without everything toppling over – though this is quite hard for a man to do IMO
Valli – most impressed with the sound of the wishing well and I like the verse. Good for you for haggling – took me years of cringing whilst XH did this but I have learnt how to
AnW – hope you all had a fab time away – now get that washing done!
Hellyb – hope you ok today and DH is nice when he comes in tonight

Right that’s it my head is a shed and can’t remember owt else

Done more than that but all baby related, plus normal dailies and clothes washing etc.
Danny has got his mortgage offer for a little stone terrace property he’s buying in the village – through me of course! Should complete by the end of the month. He doesn’t have to go to Selly Oak again, still going to York twice a week for physiotherapy and went to Hedley Court on Monday – a 500 mile round trip – for a 30 minute appointment for them to waggle his leg about and give him a couple of more exercises to do!
Chloe and DD2 doing well – well Chloe more than DD2 if the truth be told! DD2 is getting better a doing some of the jobs that need doing. The house her Dad has bought still has a long way to go before they can move in – I think it will be the middle of September.
DD1 still has no job, is applying but half of them don’t even respond to her – quite soul destroying for her.
Dh and me are really, really ready for our holiday. We’ve also had bad news in that MIL has breast cancer – they are operating next Wednesday.
Right onwards and upwards. Love and hugs to all – will try and catch more of the thread

Book labels done for school *glow* - and THIS year I ordered the blank labels through school so, for the first time I'm not paying for them myself. I am, of course, paying for printer ink/electricity to do them, not least because we have a central printer/photocopier and I would need to BLOCK all other users. besides. I'm not sure they'd pass through ok.

Better fling some pots the sink!
    *crash*
    *oops*
    make that PUT :rotfl:

Not as well as you Hol....but better than having just sat on my backside doing even less! :rotfl:

I dewebbed downstairs and I cleaned all the glass, mirrors, picture frames etc, but also cleaned the LR door, which has all little glass panels in which I HATE doing, and the Patio Doors.... I just need to polish and hoover and the LR will be finished!

I shuffled the Washing Machine around and filled another binbag, well half filled, with Misc gibble, which I will top off with more carp from upstairs, Im sure!

Off to do something else, before I get too comfy :D xx
