Hello everyone!! Glad to see everyone is going along nicely! Where is the circus you are going to Pernicious? I would love to go to the circus. I've not really done much this month but I am determined to finish everything I said I would before the end of the month. I've watched another 3 films so I'm at 5 for this month, I've also sent off my university application and donated again to charity
This weekend I'm going to go to a psychic fair and hopefully I'll be able to speak to someone about past life regression and get it booked up.
This month I managed to complete two things I hadn't planned on :j I've paid off 2 of my overdrafts and closed the accounts down. They were the smallest ones I had but they're gone woohoo!!
Hope everyone manages to complete everything they want this month

We went to Cirque Extreme at Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland, was quite interesting actually! So that's number 2 ticked off for November, doubt I will get a third ticked off in time as I can't think of anything but I will have a go.
Well done on the overdrafts :j Such a fantastic feeling isn't it?!:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Hi everyone
Sorry I have been on here for ages. I was trying to concentrate on some other stuff, but I really missed working on my list so I have decided to try again with it.
I have changed a few items on there - some of them were just near-on impossible. http://dayzeroproject.com/user/ehallett25
I have read back over what I missed and you are all doing really well. Welcome to determined_to_be_happppy.
Since November is nearly over, I want to pledge to do 7 tasks by the end of the year. That will bring me up to a nice round 10 items done. I think my 7 are going to be:
Get a Nintendo Wii
Get a Wii Fit
Finish a 1,000 piece puzzle
Buy a lottery ticket
Try red wine
Buy flowers for myself
Go a whole day without saying anything negative
They are fairly easy ones to complete (I know I am getting a Wii and Wii Fit for Christmas.), but I figure I can also work on some of the more time consuming ones too.

How's everyone getting on? I think I am going to have to put this challenge to one side this month so I can concentrate on being fully prepared for xmas (still got a few gifts to sort) & finish my wedding invitations before time runs out! I definitely need more hours in the day.
Hope you're all doing better then me!!:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Hi everyone
Trying to chip away at some of my items gradually. I managed to cross off one by doing a 1,000 piece puzzle. I need to get some of the quick ones done to spur me on a bit.

Hello everyone! I can't believe it is the 6th of December already, where has the time gone?!
Pernicious - I remember going to the circus years & years ago and absolutely loving it and I would really like to go again. Maybe I'll borrow that idea for my next 101 listI know what you mean about needing more hours in the day! I write myself a to-do list everyday and I don't think I've ever once completed it!
Emzilla - Hello :santa2: well done on completing your jigsaw! I attempted to do a 1000 piece one last month. I was doing it on the dining room table as we have no room for it but my mum had enough after a few days and needless to say it's back in the box!!! Oh well, I'll get round to it another time.
JennyJewell - An Xmas carol singing night sounds wonderful. I would love something like that this year. I'm not in the Christmas mood as much as I normally am this yearon the plus side though I haven't spent nearly as much as I normally do so I suppose every cloud does have a silver lining!!!
I've managed to find out what my completion date (Wednesday 16th July 2014) is thanks to this handy website timeanddate . com (I'm still too new to post links) It sounds ages away but I'm almost 50 days into the challenge already. I didn't quite get everything done that I wanted to last month but here's what I hope to do this month:
- Try 3 new foods
- Do 3 nice things for others
- Watch 15 movies I've not seen before
- Continue to brush my teeth twice a day
- Start to keep a diary & write in it everyday
- Finish 2 books
- Donate to charity
- Do not swear for one week
- Finish list of 101 things that make me happy
- Try a new recipe
- Learn how to whistle really loud
- Go to the cinema alone
- Start a notebook of inspirational quotes
- Get a bank to save all my £5's in!
Good luck with your challenges everyone

Hi everyone :hello: can I join in please?
Think this might be really good for me so I stop procrastinatingI see myself as being on a bit of a countdown as I am paying off my debt with the aim of then saving to go travelling with OH (and still crossing fingers about redundancy too as that would help with the travelling to get a payout), anyways, we are aiming to leave in Jan 2014 (although I think that's short of 1001 days) for at least a year hopefully 2 -3 years so I feel I need to get organised before and do some of the fun things I always say I'll get round to and don't (not that travelling won't be fun but I can't see my completing cross stitches or baking cupcakes in South America :rotfl:). I also work a lot of hours so I think it would be good to create some 'me time',
Sorry for the long boring post!
