Hi determined new ms  - thanks for making me feel welcome
I've had another look on the site but I can only see the started date and not the completion date! Oh well it's a loooong time away yet anyway
Hi Pernicious  - I've always wanted to try pole dancing but never had the guts! I live in Glasgow, well just outside anyway! That's a shame about the fish thing but never mind, I'll be happy just giving fishing a go
Well....I bought a nice shiny new notebook and have wrote my list in there so I can keep up to date. Also bought myself a bank to store my £5s in. To keep myself on track I have decided to "fine" myself as well. For example, today was to be the start of number 11 - do not swear for a week....1st day & I've failed!! So I've put £1 in the bank for having to start again tomorrow & 20p in for saying a bad word. Think I've taking this a bit far but I'm loving it and I think it's so much fun! I also went to the pictures last night to see The Inbetweeners Movie (absolutely rubbish by the way so crude & vulgar!) so thats 1/500th of a task done :rotfl:0 -
aw ur so welcome DTBH! Just checked out ur list & its looking good

Well done :T:T
I've lost a stone as well, but I was so frightened I would put it back on again that I haven't ticked it off my list but do you know what, s*d it - my list doesn't say "...and not put it back on again"
So that's #3 Lose another half a stone.
Thanks DNMS, I probably would have waited another six months before saying that was complete!Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -
Well done determined new ms and stitching witch!! I'm not even going to attempt to lose any weight before Christmas! I just hope I don't put too much on! I love my food, esp at this time of year0

Ah that's miles away from me else I'd suggest you come along to where I go, definitely don't be afraid though just go for it! I can't speak for all studio's but the place I go to is full of lovely people, really friendly & helpful, & I have become a lot stronger, flexible & I think maybe even confident since going! Shocking for me haha.
Good luck with it, & the fishing! I haven't been fishing for years, I used to go with my Dad when I was younger - maybe I'll add that to my next list!
Stitchy & DNMS - Well done on the weight loss! It's about time you crossed that off Stitchy
Jenny - Thank you & well done! My nails could do with some attention so thanks for the reminder
I should be able to cross another one off tomorrow - Witness live comedy! We are going to see Isy Suttie (played Dobby in Peep Show) locally, so not spending a fortune either - £4 each to be exact as we booked tickets in advance:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Two down, 1 more to go!
The Comedy night was brilliant, bit scary as I thought it was just the first row that got "picked" but no, these guys were going as far out as they could! Luckily they must have seen the terror in my eyes & avoided me :rotfl:
But yes, Isy Suttie was really good & so were her supporting acts, so for £4 I'm pretty chuffed!
I have my TKD grading on Monday, so fingers crossed I pass else I may only be completing 2 this month...I think I am going to pledge another 3 next month as this seems to be a good number for me, I'm off to take a lookey at my list & see what I can possibly do:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Well done on the weightloss guys!
I need to get back on the wagon but this time of the year is sooooooo difficult! With the amount of meals out etc i lose the will to carry on!
My new solid oak table arrived yesterday!!!! Though only part of it would fit in OH's car so the majority of it is in MIL's garage! Hoping to get it in over the weekend! So then can be put down as an October achievement! I haven't logged into facebook for 5 days so monday night i can cross that one off. So 2 done in October is a good thing especially as i have a lot lined up for November! I am going to cross the table off when it is actually up in my dining room!! No more wobbly cheap bistro table!!
I hope everyone else is doing well xx
