I'm going to try and work on some cross stitch and some ebay listings from my list this weekend
What's everyone else's plans?
Good luck with cracking on with those Beccie.
I'm planning on trying to finish the book I'm reading, watch a few films and do some more of my cross stitch too.

beccie loving your list! Really lovely things on there. Going to steal some of these ideas for my next one!
Plans for the weekend are revolving a lot around working from homebut think I'm going to start "no eating junk food for a month" have put a little holiday weight on and after loosing 15lbs last year I want to get rid asap
received my sewing machine today so also going to try to learn how to use it and then I will be able to start on making/customising a piece of clothing
also think today will be my "say yes to everything for a day" just hope someone asks me something this time!!! :rotfl:
we just booked 2 weeks in Thailand :T was a real steal for being a 2 week exotic hol but means going to Brazil is going to be delayed for another year... Oh the troubles I have :rotfl:
Also hopefully going to inlaws tonight (free dinner if oh gets off his backside and contacts them!) and going to speak to them about a dog share :T. With now working in my home town it will be much easier to manage as I can come home in my lunch break and take it for a walkDF as at 30/12/16

How did it go with the cross stitch Emz? I must admit to not getting any done!
Good luck with the no sweets OrangeFairy - don't think I could do that one!
Dog share sounds very exciting DNMS!
Although I failed on my cross stitch one I did get on with selling some stuff. I couldn't find my camera so didn't do ebay but instead of using this as an excuse as I normally would, I spent the day doing Amazon trade-in instead, so this challenge is defnitely helping me with motivation. OH has insisted I won't be able to sell 1001 things so that's a double challenge!Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

I failed miserably. The only thing I got done was finishing my book off. Really must try harder this week.
Well done on listing stuff on Amazon. I'm sure you will manage to sell 1,001 items.

By the end of January, I pledge to:
Watch at least 10 new films (taking me to 34/100) - watched 4
Read at least 3 books (taking me to 7/50) - read 2
Drive a Mini
Try red wine
Eat 1 thing I have never tried before (taking me to 4/5)
Buy myself some flowers
Get a sudoku book and complete half of it - bought the book and have completed about a quarter of it
Get rid of 20 things (taking me to 20/100)
Do a random act of kindness (taking me to 1/5)
Watch season 1 of Friends
Hi - how is everyone getting on with their goals for January?
Thought I should take a look at how mine are coming along. Still loads to do. I did manage to cross of an unexpected item from my list:
Read a book in a day
I started a book at 8pm yesterday and finished it a couple of hours ago. It was 400 pages long, but the print was quite big, so it was really easy to read.
I hope you've all had a good weekend.

I've spent the last couple of weeks working on #11 (make a quilt for our bed) from fabric I bought about five years ago. I've almost finished the 8ft square top, just two more borders to add, then it needs putting together and quilting. But guess what........
I don't like it!!!!:o:o

I've just sewn the last set of borders on the quilt and laid it out for DH to look at. Luckily he likes it so I will still finish it and use it until I make another that I love even more. Phew, all that fabric and hard work won't end up on Eb*y after all!Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0
