  • Hi everyone,

Hope you are all doing well with your goals so far. I haven't checked in since I joined so thought I had better pop in!

So far I have started to declutter both my bedrooms...have a 'home' bedroom and uni bedroom so double the stuff! This will be a lot easier to do in a few months when I move back home....

Another of my goals is to read the lord of the rings books as I haven't managed to read them yet. I am currently reading the Hobbit and the first book should be on its way in the post this week :)

Unfortunately I haven't done a lot but have had my uni work and the dreaded dissertation to contend with but I shall be keeping up with my goals as and when, as long as I manage to complete them in the 1001 days is all that counts.

    Hope you are all well.

    Hello everyone!

I managed to slot in not one but two 101 items today thanks to the snow!

    I built a snow animal & had a snowball fight :D

How is everyone else getting along?

  • What animal did you make Perni? I'd be hopeless at anything like that.

I've come to a bit of a standstill at the moment. Real Life has reared her ugly head and I'm struggling a little. Nothing that I won't bounce back from, but enough to put the dampener on getting my list done.

When I write my next list it will be a little more realistic, although to be fair, this one looked realistic when I wrote it :o

I made what was meant to be a snow bunny...but it kinda looked more like a snow puppy! Haha. It looked ridiculous in fairness but it's done :)

Hope you bounce back soon, there's some list items to be ticked off! I am making very slow progress at the moment but I figure after the wedding there will be more money & more time to work on it. Mine seemed very realistic as well but now I'm not so sure! How long have you got left?

    Hello Ladies

I have been reading this thread while feeling a bit poorly and resting skiving at work.

I have written lists like this before but in the back of notebooks and diaries but never knew the Day Zero site existed. I have now set up my own list http://dayzeroproject.com/user/healey and have pinched a couple of ideas from your lists. It is not finished yet but will be soon and I know I am a year or 2 behind you all:rotfl:

I wanted to let you know that you have influenced/inspired me to make my own 101 in1001 days list so if it is on your list you can cross it off!:D

    Thanks

  • Welcome XSpender. I'm glad you've been inspired by us! I'm a great list maker. As well as my 101 things list (which is basically longish term goals) I do a monthly goals list under 11 different headings and a daily list on the days I don't go to work (ie my Stitching Witch days and weekends). I also have various other lists on the go - meal plans, allotment plans, Stitching Witch lists; you name it, I have a list for it :rotfl:

I started my personal challenge on 1st January 2010 so I now have 231 days left, finishing on 27th September. I will write another list and start it on 1st October so I'll still be here keeping you all in order and motivating us all. We might be able to get a few others involved, or to encourage some of those who joined in at the beginning to look at their lists again.

Now, where did I out my "get up and go"??? ;)

  • My list activities are going a little slowly! Last night I did make chicken soup so that helps towards one of my tasks!!!

Send some get up and go my way please Stitchy!!! X

Must be the time of year - I've not done anything for a few weeks as I've had a chest infection. On the mend now though, so looking to get cracking with my list again.

I've got 750 days left and I worked out that I need to cross off 1 item (roughly) every 8 days. Going to try and do 1 a week and see how long I can keep that up.

I hope you find your get up and go Stitchy. I know what you mean about the list not looking realistic now. Some of my items don't seem very 'doable' anymore.

Well done on crossing off a couple of items Pernicious. We have managed to escape the snow here (touch wood) - good job none of my items require snow.

Welcome XSpender - good luck with getting your list finished.

    Emz xx
