I have decide to post a link to my list http://dayzeroproject.com/user/Baileys.Babe originally I planned to post only after I had added all 100 items, well I'm finding it difficult to make my list, I have plenty of ideas I then log on and my minds a blank or I've lost the paper with them on :rotfl:

Today updated my list as we went to see Little shop of Horrors on Friday night, it was a fantastic adaptation.

Need to do some work on achieving some of the others.

  • Hi Baileys Babe. It's a good list so far. I notice #10 is try a needle craft and you've marked it in progress. What is it you're trying? Just being a nosy stitchy x

This year I have tried; knitting, patchwork & loom knitting. I have decided to continue with the loom knitting as a result my lovely sister has bought me a set of looms as an early birthday present :j. I would love to be able knit, I plan to go back to this in the future, maybe later this year or early next, my sister is willing to help me with this and is extremely patient with my inability to knit even though I have tried at various points through out my life, I have now finally mastered casting on :rotfl: so some progress has been made.

Gave blood on thursday!!!! Very pleased with myself - though it wasnt the best experience. For someone who is petrified of needles 6 attempts and then redoing it again after not much was coming out is not great!! GRRRRRR made me feel pretty faint!

But glad i have done it to cross of my list, they send me my blood results to say if everything was okay with my donatio in about 3 weeks and my blood type will be on there - so that will be another thing crossed off.

SIL's bday next month and i am going to make her a hot air balloon cake so that will be my 5th cake and i can cross that off!!

2 hen nights and wedding coming up - so another 3 things there!!

    Getting there slowly!!

I hope everyone is doing well xx

I've just realised #66 has been completed - dig and weed the remaining allotment beds. DH has been working down there quite a lot recently and finished them last weekend. :j

Well done OrangeFairy - you should be really proud of yourself! I tried to give blood the other week but was told to try again in a year as my veins are too small, of all the things! So hopefully next year I'll be ok to do so.

On Thursday I managed to cross off 2 items:-

    1. Build a sandcastle
    2. Eat fish & chips overlooking the seaside
Unfortunately, I did not brave "Swim in the sea" as it was just a tad too chilly for that...but I have plenty of time for that one still :) I'm quite happy really as I have completed 7% of my items already & have lots in progress.

well done on crossing two items of your list!

    I also crossed off

    100. Eat fish & chips overlooking the seaside :j

On Mothers day OH took me to town and i was told to buy some clothes. Then after that he stopped to buy us Cod boxes from the fish and chip shop and then drove out to the beach which is 3 mins from us. We stopped in the layby high above the beach and had our fish and chips while watching and listening to the sea. Very thoughtful of OH as he knew it was on my list :D

Aww that's so sweet! I wish we lived that close - I hope our next house may involve a big move, although it depends on our job situation then I guess, & that's a long way away, but I can dream of a pretty house by the coast all the same :)

Good stuff Orange Fairy! Lovely to see you doing so well, I need to get my butt in gear & go through my list again, see what I can arrange to do.

I'm amazed you're still focussed on this considering how close your wedding is! Congratulations, you must be so excited!
