Hi everyone
Hey littlekel - I know what you mean. It's a bit disheartening when you think you'll really enjoy something and then it turns out that it's more of a slog than something you enjoy. If it starts to get you down then I reckon it's something you should switch or 'modify'...
I've decided how I'm going to do a few more of mine... I've been saving £2 for every task I've completed. At first I thought I was going to wait until the end of the 1001 days and then have £202 to spend. But I've been thinking - I'm going to start using what I've got saved to help me complete other tasks on my list. So, that's £££ for buying some of the books on my list, some new wool to knit myself a nice shrug etc. Will feel even better/free...right?!
Finished one last night - eat fondue with my OH
34 down!
I need to update the website now - have only been updating my list on excel.
Catch up soon everyone :beer:0 -
Good thinking RE the money La E! A very sensible plan
Having a quiet weekend meant it was a 101 things weekend!
I have completed
Finish a 1000 piece jigsaw - woohoo i am sooo pleased
Develop a better skin care routine - cleanser and nivea moisturiser twice a day. I can feel the difference
Then i made some more progress on others
Make 5 people birthday / occasion cakes - made cake for OH's son - thats 3 cakes now
Make 5 different soups from scratch- bought what i need to make pea and ham soup
Read all of the Harry Potter books- Found someone to borrow the remaining books i need to read
Read pride and prejudice - read a fifth of it over the weekend
Complete my photobooks and get them printed - Spent a couple of hours on Friday night progressed with the book for 2009. I have created books for everyyear 2003-2008 but only ordered 2007 abd 2008 so far. They are about £60 a book!
Cook Martyn a three course meal-Bought half the ingredients to make this tonight - popping out in lunch to get the rest!
So it is going well.Orange Fairy

You are doing really well kel! :T:T
I've started the bathroom and toilet room. Managed to get the lining paper up over the weekend so it's just a matter of painting. Unfortunately the next six weeks are going to be manic at work, including overtime every day as we have to manually transfer 2000 clients onto our new computer system.
I'll just have to delegate the painting to DH this week as I want to relax next weekend and sew corsets!!Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -

:D:D
La E - was thinking of modifying my colouring book challenge and taking your advice! I was thinking maybe - Complete a colouring book with my girlies! The 3 of us could colour pages we fancied and sign our name on the ones we do! This way i can share some time with them and it not get me down! I coloured 2 more pages on monday and flicked through the book and got so down about how many pages were left!! xxOrange Fairy
