Tesco Price Increases

It is now £1.25 for a loaf of Hovis in tesco!!

I know they do cheaper lines but its still outrageous!!

Additionally. I have bought Tesco own brand pasta sauce three times in recent weeks and every time there was an increase in price.

I do shop in Lidl for quite a bit of stuff. their pickled beetroot and cabbage is gorgeous!!

I very rarely shop in Tesco, only if it's late and I'm desperate for something as it's 24 hour. For my normal weekly shop I get as much as I can from Aldi, I then get the bits that Aldi doesn't sell from either Sainsburys, Morrisons or Asda.

The final choice depends on how tired I am as Sainsbury's is a 30 second drive away whereas Morrisons and Asda are a good 20 minutes away in the next town.

If I do an on-line shop I do it via My Supermarket so I can compare the total cost from each shop before I check out.

I use Tesco when I'm on holiday in Devon as it's 5 minutes away whereas all the rest at a good hour away.
