This week I was invited to test a Lip Balm from ClixResearch. It arrived this morning and the pot is very tiny but it is full to the top with lip balm. The test is for 2 weeks and I think that there is enough lip balm to last longer than that. As anyone else being offered this to test from them?:)

Hi Jan. I have just completed a test for after sun cream.
I have had emails for testing smokers toothpaste - oh smokes. I have not seen the test sample yet! still waiting!
I have not been asked to test a lip balm yet. Well done for getting on the trial.
The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)
  • This week I received a light bronzing powder, the code is LF and I can't figure out what brand it's from. It's in a lovely round box with flowers on.

I have just finished the gel liner trial that started with LF. When I removed the label from the lid it said Autograph underneath so assume it's the Marks and Spencer range. It didn't have flowers on it. Just a glass bottom with plain black screw lid.
  • I received 6 emails from them last week offering trials and when I clicked on one I couldn't enter anymore. I just took pot luck and I'm now trialling a face product. This is my second trial in total last one was a shower gel.

    I love this place :j:T:j
  • They are genuine, and I have been signed up for a about 3 and half years now. I have done loads of trails for them no junk mail or email
  • I've just finished a 'Supersensitive All Day Moisturiser with the code JP0173J.
Any ideas what it might be as it really is a lovely product.
No clues from the packaging I'm afraid.

The company which was called ClixResearch as now changed its name to Clicks Globel Research. I received a email from them to say that since I am a member I would have to fill in my details again and start a new account with them. I must admit the new site is alot better than the last one. The setback is that you now have to start and fill in all your profiling questions yet again. :j
  • Hi, fellow researchers.
I wondered about the change of name from CLIX- to CLICKS- research. I kind of decided that it was a separate division of the same company, as they offered me a survey, rather than a trial .But maybe not? :o I find both the sites very difficult to navigate round, and there is the annoying "never ending" personal details questionnaire. Some of the questions are quite odd like, "Have you still got your rabbit?". If you never had a rabbit, what`s the answer? :p
I`ve done quite a few cosmetics trials, but none of them particularly exciting.Obviously, it depends on what items you select on your profile, but what I find most irritating is the fact that the trial is meant to start and I haven`t had the product in the post. Then I get automatically generated reminders, saying my Punctuality will be affected. I had one recently of face powder where it turned up late. They altered the finish date which I completed ,and they still sent me the nagging email the day after. Apart from that, It`s all good.
I`m testing bubble bath atm. It took quite a long time before I got my first trial after joining. The emails seem to arrive at about 1.30 pm on Wednesdays and it just so happens that I`m often out that day. The pages do seem to jump around when you try to accept a trial ,I wondered if it was not compatible with Firefox, or something like that? I enjoy doing them, though and have never had any problems with spam or trying to sell me stuff.

That's weird, I've not had any emails from them about this. Would you mind putting a link to the new site on here please?
