joined clix in jan i think (this year anyway).
had to wait a while then i was invited to join 3 trials at once but only got 1 (assume they were for similar products so cant test all at once). have done 5 trials now 3 for makeup, 2 for hair/body stuff.
pretty good when you get them but maybe you are luckier if you are extremes ie dry skin, etc
i do have a blackberry though so i can sort the emails as soon as i get them which is probably why i have been involved in so many
I used to have email on my phone (no mobile at all anymore as I have no money for one!) I used to respond to all the messages they sent me ASAP which as I was an random-time worker meant pretty much as soon as they arrived.

I still have only ever had one trial- and that was after I went without email-via-phone.

I update all the details they have of me monthly or whenever they email, I still have no trials. I am just about ready to hand in the towel with this one as it wastes too much of my time filling in little circles only to be told I still need to update as I am not able to answer every part of the list given (eg I have no cat, I do not drive/have a car and I do not go on holiday!). I don't think they need me in their to-be list anyway.

today i got a full size body shop compact foundation my 3rd trial in about a year or so. my only complaint is they want you to fill out all the info and when you have done it they still ask you to complete it.
  • I have been a member of ClixResearch for around three years now and I have lost count of the amount of trials myself and my Mum have been invited to and completed. My mum has only just finished testing Elemis toner, which is beautiful. I have had some great products from them also.
I would say that I don't often update my profile on there but they tend to email me when an important profile update is needed.

I have been with them for years and can honestly say that not a week goes buy that I am not doing 1 or even 2 trials for them. I am doing day cream night cream and serum just now.Got send a huge tube of the serum and 2 jars each of the creams. :D
My profile is never up to date and I quite often just ignore the emails I get sent to do trials and still get loads to try.

I been a member for several years now, never had a paid trial though. I've tested about 40 products over that time and hubby has too. I'm just waiting for a cleanser to arrive.

I've found that when you get those multiple offerings, once you accept one the rest become unavailable. Think that happened with washing-up liquid for instance.

yes, they email you when you are chosen for a trial relevant to your profile.

the trial was probably full by the time you got to respond - they fill up extremely quickly (i.e. normally within an hour!!)
