Hi Jennie, I've manages to get a few trials with them as i said and my initials are MK - middling to say the least! I think if when the emails go out, if people have a job or whatever where they have their email program open anyway they can click straight on it as it arrives, which leaves everyone else who gets to it a couple of hours later with a full trial.
I am signed up with Tesco and have only ever had 2 trials with them despite using them every week! I think these things are just swings and roundabouts.
I have my last initial fairly near the last letter of the alphabet (I'll let you guess...) I also have the "luck" of having one week day when I am in till 12pm and can check my emails as they come in. Twice I have had emails from Clix and saw them come in- as in they were not there when I opened my emails. I deleted the rubbish (all of 5 seconds to do so) and then it appeared at the top of my email list. The email had just arrived, happened twice. I answered straight away, nothing, no trial to do as it was full.
I should add I only had that one email after a very feisty email to them stating how unhappy I was that I had taken my time to fill in all the requested details yet 2.5 years later I was still waiting. It could have been a concidence but a few weeks later, I got a trial. Nothing since yet have had invites since (like 2 or 3).
I think Tescos don't do many trials. I used to get quite a few- all household stuff where others got flashy nice stuff like clothes or beauty stuff (I got toilet cleaner which didn't work). I have since only had one trial in the past year, it would seem from the thread on Tesco surveys that they don't offer that many trials. Your not missing much! But could be worth emailing.
Boots is a better one- are you on the Boots testing panel?0 -
I think I must be lucky as I've been signed up with them around a year and a half and I've probably tested around 15 products. I've also missed out on many others as they're already full. Maybe it's because I use a lot of products already and so I have a fair few of the boxes ticked on my profile.0

I've been with them for about 18 months now. I have had no problems with them, and I have trialled about 15 items so far. Nice stuff to, I'm currently trialling a months supply of expensive face serum, which is undoubtedly Neils Yard, its even in their slim blue glass bottles. I have trialled their stuff before. The stuff is varied, I have trialled shower gel, toothpaste, facial cleansers, moisturisers, shampoo, scalp treatments, arnica cream. Perseve its worth it.:T:T365 AF Day Challenge 32/365:T:j

My reply was not all all meant to be rude. All I meant was that I wasn't familiar with the website and perhaps I put it more flippantly than I should have. Don't be offended please.0

ClixResearch will reward you with cash for trials which don't involve products. So, if you don't benefit from one of the many free products that we test, you will benefit from the cash and you will be free to spend it on anything you like!

JULY WINS- LABEL M PRODUCTS0 -
I've been signed up for about 3 years and have had lots of trials. I rarely go more than a week or 2 without having a trial ongoing. I check my e mails regularly throughout the day and don't miss that many.
They seem to have an ongoing fault on the profile pages, even when you've answered everything possible they still flash but don't worry it doesn't stop the trial invitations.
I've never been paid for any trials, just get to keep the products some of which are expensive brands.
Never had any spam from them either, they are my favourite trial/survey site.0 -
I have been successful in three trials, I have just finished one last week, just have to be patient0

I've been registered since 2008 and have only been successful in completing 2 trials.
My profile is showing as incomplete because the Lifestyle and Food & Drink sections won't update. The problem seems to be that the answer format is incorrect - some answers are compulsory (circle box) rather than optional (square box) and they don't include 'n/a' options. Plus when they add new questions they don't always add them at the top or bottom of the list so it's easy to miss them when scrolling through masses of already-answered questions.
Out of all the survey sites I'm registered with, Clix seems to be one of the least worthwhile, in my experience.0 -
joined clix in jan i think (this year anyway).
had to wait a while then i was invited to join 3 trials at once but only got 1 (assume they were for similar products so cant test all at once). have done 5 trials now 3 for makeup, 2 for hair/body stuff.
pretty good when you get them but maybe you are luckier if you are extremes ie dry skin, etc
i do have a blackberry though so i can sort the emails as soon as i get them which is probably why i have been involved in so many0
