Asda Wii's - confirmed by head office!

I can confirm that Asda (walmart stores only) will be selling Wii's from tonight. You can find your local store here http://www.asda.co.uk/corp/storelocator_frameset/storelocator_frameset.htm

and i would contact them regarding deliveries today / tomorrow.

Some store will be receiving 20+

Well seeing that i have business dealings with Asda lets say i have a contact on the 0500 telephone number thats very helpful.

The 'source' is 100% correct - i have just spoken to the store manager @ Havant store and he has confirmed that there expecting some tonight.

I know Aintree will be receiving the most out of all the store allocations.

These Wii's will only be at the large Walmart stores.

Thanks PeteMc. I Appreciate your help. I think I will try my local Asda tonight and if no luck, I may order one from France.

I went to Game today and was told I wouldn't get one for Xmas (I already knew this). I spoke to the lovely Manager who told me to come back on Xmas week and pre-order. She reckons I will get one for the New Year. She also said that Nintendo had purposely manufactured less for publicity reasons.

Received mine from Amazon today, set it up quickly at work during our lunch hour (24" Dell LCD monitor), fantastic console, everyone wanted a go and loved it!!!

Can't wait to get it home.
