I think the contract was made as he actually paid for them!0

I'm sure there is some sort of contract with people who pre-order also though.
Anyway it's not your fault, all you did is ask like most of us would. It's the sales person & the managers fault for ignoring the pre-order status and selling it. Smile, you only get one life, LIVE IT.0 -

Hmmm. Maybe they haven't had any stock in? As silly as it may seem, it's possible! The store my bf works in hasn't had any stock. Just because they've been taking pre orders and you haven't got one yet does not mean the staff are buying them up
It makes me laugh, the number of threads I read about Currys staff 'buying up' everything and getting all the best offers so customers miss out.. How much do you think they pay their staff?! in order to buy all these wii's etc :rotfl:The £2.00 Coin Savers Club = approx £22.00  :j.. The 20p Savers Club = £17.80.

Someone has just sold their Wii with the sports game only on ebay for £400 with £20 p&p. God damn that's annoying.Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast0

Just rang the blockbusters in the liverpool area and only one store received any Wiis and they sold out on friday! Each area has their own success/failure stories.-1- wrote:Might sound like a strange place but 2 of my local Blockbuster stores had them in over the weekend, when I rang them they had sold the last one 10 minutes earlier.
It's another option anyway.
I hate ebay money makers. But if I manage to buy two then I'm sure I'll join the ranks of the evil. Don't want to but human nature.Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast0 -

Give them a call. Only they will know what stock they have and when they can deliver. Smile, you only get one life, LIVE IT.0 -
My Wii I ordered from Amazon on Friday has just arrived and that was the Super Saver delivery! I am so excited my boss thinks I am a loon! Ive had a peep at him but he's back in the box now waiting until Christmas Day.
Wonder if the Woolies one will ever turn up, anyway else who ordererd on the 23/11 had anything yet? I have my own little queue of people wanting to buy my spare one now if I get it and I am selling it for what I paid being it's Christmas and all that0
