Yeah, great isn't it.

I doubt i'll even get one let alone the 3 but i've been given the job as I work from home and have the time apparently lol.

Not sure if they have anything planned if I can't get them, I hope they do as I think i'm in the same position as a few other people*.

Marketting. It creates hype. Something that sells out is perceived to be desirable, making more people want one.

Sony were the masters of this type of "demand" marketting in the 90's.

Then come 18-22nd of december everywhere "suddenly" had stock, just in time for the last days of xmas shopping.

Explain why most of the major retailers are telling customers there isnt hardly any hope in getting one before Christmas! That makes good sense if they want customers to come back to buy one from them when "everywhere suddenly has stock"

I think there will be a lot of disappointed kids or poor parents this xmas.

There are selling them again on places like lxdirect but delivery is 9 weeks.

Just read that the sports accessories pack with the tennis racket, baseball bat and golf club add ons is being released 15/12/06 - I bought one in Game on Friday.:D

I'm not sure which stores would be saying they haven't any hope till late January . Game have signs up saying people should pop in and are taking names/numbers to call when the third batch comes in. Most of the time the staff are told to say they don't know or expect it to be till after christmas. Just think about it, if you saw a shop with a few left, you'd buy it straight away without considering it.

Game had a tonne of games and controllers in though apart from the nunchuck.

In Game today I asked when their next stock was and they said before Christmas but they don't know an exact date.


Their available with Mobile Phone deals now but delivery is early January.
