Nintendo WII pre order only £180

I'm number 36 on the pre-order list at Game in debenhams in Leeds. They had 30 (so I am told) and 5 people dropped out. That leaves me next in line to get one. The final 2 were picked up yesterday otherwise I could have got one.
Bloody annoyed !
Anyway lets hope that Nintendo release a load of stock prior to xmas.
On a different note, as soon as PS3 pre-orders are being taken my names going down."Holding On For Dear Life" - read my true story of when my fiance suffered a stroke exactly 3 weeks before our wedding.

Hello all!
I don't know much about the Wii ... but O/H told me last night that he thought it was good .... over and over .... in other words ... he wants one
Have read a a lot of this thread but got confused when people mentioned wireless internet etc
do you need that to play the Wii .... or can you just plug and play on your telly .... like they show in the ad ... the guy playing the sword game
And does anyone know what that sword game is called
TIA ...... Any help appreciated
Am hoping that I may get hold of one ... IF they release another batch:oI can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!I thunk I've made you think for a minute!:j :rotfl: :j0 -
You can just plug it in and play - but to use online features you need wireless broadband. or buy an adapter on ebay for £15
The sword game is Zelda and it's very good. Best to sign up to amazon's pre order list or try your luck in store to get hold of one.

I think they show 2 sword games on adverts, zelda and red steel?
Does anyone NOT like their console yet? I haven't had a chance to play one and I'd have to order it hoping I'd like it.“Pleasure of love lasts but a moment, pain of love lasts a lifetime.”0 -
