I've got bt broadband and a bt voyager router, do I need to find my discs, passwords, etc. I'm set up to access it automatically on desk top and lap top. I'd better open the wii and start now so that its up and running for Xmas.

    You shouldn't need the disks.
The Wii can automatically detect a wireless network if you tell it to, however you may need to enter the network password (not the same one used for the email) into the wii if you've got wireless security on (you should do really).

Try 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.100.1 in your browser as that will normally bring up the access/settings page for many routers, then head to the routers wireless settings pages and make a note of them if need be so you can use them where needed for the Wii.

Cheers I have got security on it, sorry to be so dim but is my network password the one I made up when I installed the broadband (hard to believe after the questions I'm asking but I did really install it) can't remember what it is because I get signed in autoatically. :o

When I click on my network connection it says this wireless network is secrity enabled. This network equires a security key - is the security key the password I set?

As far as I heard, play.com were bairly getting any in o.O And nintendo ruin thier sales if they hold them back, although it improves demand, a lot of retaillers miss out on targets, and if they release them RIGHT before xmas, they might not sell them all, which dents Nintendos profitability. I think its just a case of they didn't anticipate the wii to be THIS big, thier target to shareholders etc was 4m by xmas, and they're well on thier way, but not going to reach it unless they can get another big batch in early before xmas :/

As for the componant cable - sweet!

And DS lites, shortage on the production line due to more sources being used for the wii. A lot of places have sold out of the original DS as well, both pink and blue, most silvers sold out last xmas.
