    Oh honestly, it's been awful. Statutory maternity pay is rubbish. In April's payslip there was the grand total of £330. Considering childcare for the 2 and a bit weeks of May I'll have worked has cost me £460, train tickets £70, new suit because I'm not slim enough to wear my pre-pregnancy suits £38 (Dotty P's cheapie)... you do the maths :o

    Sorry the debt repaying isn't going so well, but having a happy, healthy family is the most important thing - the rest will come in good time. How is work going? Any progress with the house move?

    Hiya hun, just left you a message on your other thread. Natasha is adorable too! Work is awful- my new boss is an idiot and I feel like a spare part but hey, it pays the mortgage. Our house is on the market- lots of viewings but no offers yet. Keep your fingers crossed for us x x x

    And verily, we shall get you on the straight and narrow - even if it is just your thighs... ;)

    Other than that, don't worry. First month is always going to be a mis-match between expediture (due now) and wages (due later).

    ZTD I'm afraid my thighs are beyond redemption. Even though I did a marathon walk last weekend for breast cancer :eek:

    You can certainly help me back onto the wagon though... I need a big push.
