Oh honestly, it's been awful. Statutory maternity pay is rubbish. In April's payslip there was the grand total of £330. Considering childcare for the 2 and a bit weeks of May I'll have worked has cost me £460, train tickets £70, new suit because I'm not slim enough to wear my pre-pregnancy suits £38 (Dotty P's cheapie)... you do the mathsDebt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24

Hi Mrs S, I was wondering how you were getting on! Thomas is adorable, bless him.
Sorry the debt repaying isn't going so well, but having a happy, healthy family is the most important thing - the rest will come in good time. How is work going? Any progress with the house move?
Take care, love Snaggles xxx"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Hiya hun, just left you a message on your other thread. Natasha is adorable too! Work is awful- my new boss is an idiot and I feel like a spare part but hey, it pays the mortgage. Our house is on the market- lots of viewings but no offers yet. Keep your fingers crossed for us x x xDebt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24

And verily, we shall get you on the straight and narrow - even if it is just your thighs...
Other than that, don't worry. First month is always going to be a mis-match between expediture (due now) and wages (due later)."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Hope you get an offer soon! You're amazing even managing to contemplate work - my brain has been so mashed by the pregnancy I don't think I'll ever be able to work again!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

ZTD I'm afraid my thighs are beyond redemption. Even though I did a marathon walk last weekend for breast cancer

Your thighs are not beyond redemption. That's defeatist talk. We won't have that kind of talk round here. You'll be talking about consolidating them next.Mrs_Sparkle wrote: »You can certainly help me back onto the wagon though... I need a big push.
