  • Was it??? I missed that bit! If it is no p&p then I am not doing it!

Yes, you have to offer free P+P to UK buyers. Only worth it if you can sell very cheap light things and add the cost of the P+P onto the item's listing price.

Not an entirely DFW day today I'm afraid. Firstly I ran out of dried fruit and eggs halfway through my marathon Christmas cake baking session so had to resort to the corner shop- I resented every penny that the dried fruit was over the Tesco's value price of 45p.
pre light bulb would you have been making your own or would you have bought the Tescos finest ?
Then this evening I bought a pair of skinny black maternity jeans from eBay for £13.50 incl. postage. A bit extravagant since I've only got 11 weeks of pregnancy left but they are luvverly and I used my paypal balance to pay for them.
pre light bulb would you have bought them on Ebay or brand new from the shop on the never never ?

I've been so lazy today and feeling full of cold... I haven't bothered listing anything on eBay or Amazon- sales are a bit slow there anyway so there doesn't seem much point. I did set up a Pigsback account for hubby though and I did some more matched betting so it wasn't a complete waste of a day.
pre light bulb would you have been making money on a Sunday instead of spending it ?

11 days till payday and another chunk of debt cleared!!!!
pre light bulb would you be looking forward to clearing another chunk off your debt or would you now be totally overdrawn and desperate for pay day

I think you are MSE through and through, you just dont realise when you are doing it now :rotfl:

mrs s we all have bad dfw days now and then, it's tough to keep it up 100% all the time, noone could physically do it wihtout killing themselves through exhaustion!

the good news is that now you (and we) are so clued up and organised money wise that one wibbly day in a blue moon is no longer the scary emergency how-do-i-feed-myself? crisis that it would have been pre lightbulb.
  • Well the pregnancy yoga classes started last night and I can say with confidence that it's £45 very well spent. My original aim with matched betting was to make an additional £600 to pay for yoga and a £60 speeding fine then put my debt total below £24K so I've got the yoga and speeding fine sorted anyway. It's making a big difference psychologically to be able to do something constructive between paydays to make extra money.

Another payday next week and I'm feeling confident about having a cheap December so I can blitz my debts. My MBNA card has been approved which will put all my CCs onto one monthly payment and 0% interest. Needless to say the PIN went straight into the bin in a thousand pieces and the card's going to follow when it arrives.

Oooh plus I've got a mystery shopping job this Saturday which for once fits in with where I was planning to be anyway so that'll be another tenner towards the kitty. Looking good!

i think thats perfectly understandable, it's not like you've got saturday nights out on the tiles to enjoy at the moment so something has to take it's place. as soon as little tommy sparkle is on to solids i expect you to be enjoying more sociable habits! ;)

in reality its a good thing you enjoy it, if you didn't it'd make it much more of a struggle.

things up here are going better, feeling much more upbeat after my shopping spree on sunday, i knew there was a reason i used to be happy and am in debt! why are the good things in life always bad for you???
  • Oooh I could do with a good shopping spree... I should be grateful that my waistline has temporarily disappeared so that is keeping me away from the shops. I'm glad you're feeling better- hope you're not still overworking yourself *wags finger*
