Mrs Sparkle's sparkly debt diary

Not an entirely DFW day today I'm afraid. Firstly I ran out of dried fruit and eggs halfway through my marathon Christmas cake baking session so had to resort to the corner shop- I resented every penny that the dried fruit was over the Tesco's value price of 45p.
Then this evening I bought a pair of skinny black maternity jeans from eBay for £13.50 incl. postage. A bit extravagant since I've only got 11 weeks of pregnancy left but they are luvverly and I used my paypal balance to pay for them.
I've been so lazy today and feeling full of cold... I haven't bothered listing anything on eBay or Amazon- sales are a bit slow there anyway so there doesn't seem much point. I did set up a Pigsback account for hubby though and I did some more matched betting so it wasn't a complete waste of a day.

I really don't know how you can say that after all the support and good advice you've been dishing out today. You are doing great and those jeans and dried fruit could have been a lot worse as we all know
Remember to applaud yourself for all the good things you do - like all this baking [STRIKE]and sending me the leftover brandy [/STRIKE]- and hope the cold goes very quickly. Don't want Sparklo getting uncomfy nowLeason learnt :beer:0 -

That's a fab name, though it does remind me of an ex who used to claim his alter-ego was a rock star named Max Spanglehammer.
On a more serious note, wouldn't worry about the the spends today - you may only have 11 weeks left but those last few weeks drag -you will be pleased you bought the jeans!0 -

Isn't that only if you are offering free postage? It wouldn't be worth it for the kind of items I sell.0 -

I'm not sure about offering free postage though- it would be impossible for some of the things I have to sell as they're pretty heavy.Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24
