Not at the bottom of the page yet, but I'll give Fred a little bump anyway.

GoodMorning all, Morning boult. It's a bit early to go blackberry picking. Did you have someone hold a torch? while you picked them.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have noticed that the Sloes are nearly ready as well this year.
I have promised myself that I will make my own Sloe Gin this year.
    (recipe provided if required).

Catch you all in a while.
    Cheers, handy.

Nicca, I love Crime and Punishment, although I like Russian literature anyway.

Numpty  at the cleaning! I really need to get on with mine. Especially the piles of filing, I need to get them before they get me.

Well, I've had an interesting day. Sister phoned and asked if I wanted to meet her and dad at the designer outlet in York. But then on the way out I locked the keys in the house. So three neighbours had to help me break back in (there are some advantages to living in a dodgy area!). Got there and had a coffee with dad and sis, bought some chocs for my neighbours and a tea strainer for me, then went for a carvery (on dad). Then spent an hour with sis driving round Huddersfield trying to find a pub where a friend's band were playing, before giving up and coming home.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Ames you have had an interesting day! Lunch sounds nice though:) On the subject of cleaning I've just done one of my favourite jobs (not) cleaning out the drawer of my washing machine - Uugghh! If fabric conditioner does that to the drawer what exactily does it do to your clothes:eek: Horrible gunky slimey stuff:o and I get to do my DD's as well:(

One of my neighbours locked themself out last year, just after we had had new windows installed so no chance of breaking a window. Luckily the toilet window was open but has restrictors on it so there we were at 1am with various screwdrivers and had to literally remove the window from the frame. She then had to get in through a very small window, luckily she's quite skinny but tall and taking into account we are on the 8th floor it was very scary as she had to balance herself on the balcony to get to the window, I was carping myself. Now we've got a spare set of her keys. The window people weren't too happy either!

If... It was drinking the ovaltine that enabled them to hit the high notes!.

Handy.. I think there is an ovaltine vodka isnt there?.. :rotfl:

Niccatw.. Nice to see you again. Dont work too hard.

Looloo.. Hope your day wasn't too bad. Cheeky boss you have!.

Boult.. Hope you cleared space in your freezer!.

BL.. The best thing to keep your drawer clean is home made fabric softener and detergent. Fabric softener, Low temp wash liquids/non Bio's and colour cares + low temp washing cycles are lethal on the insides of the machine. Home made are cheaper too and you can add any fragrance you wish!.

You've got my interest now Geebee, how do you make your own? And is it just as good, does it get the clothes clean and stains out etc.?
