Spoon... There are a few cotton lavender 'breeds' (for want of a better word) as i said before though, they are NOT lavendar as such. Without getting too scientific, they are from the Asteraceae family, this includes daisies, sunflowers etc. The common Lavender is from the Lamiaceae family. There are other little bits of important stuff that makes the plants what they are, but the cotton lavender is often confused as being 'Lavender' when it actually isnt. Confused?.. yes, i dont blame you. :rotfl:
Depending on the type of plant you have, some can be used for cooking, BUT as with all herbs, caution is recommended. Many herbs can react badly with prescription medication, and particularly with certain types of medication.

    HTH. :)

Thanks Geebee, sorry I didn't see your previous post, been a bit busy and haven't been able to keep up with the thread as much as usual. That's really helpful:A Will go and do some research into the species I have and see what it can be used for.

    You're a mine of information - thanks.

And thanks for the coffee this morning (and the scrambled egg and bacon, I nicked some off Swanny's plate, don't think he noticed)

    Hi everyone
Sorry I've been missing today, been sorting out computers, wiring, etc, and interwebby's been off all day.

You've been busy today, lots of chat about home made laundry products (sounds like a great idea to me), mosquito repellants (I use the Avon stuff, works well for me) and Numpty's been cleaning:j

Off to do the NSD update now, back later to chain Fred up again

I'm off now, long week ahead again and early start tomorrow, I need my beauty sleep:rotfl::rotfl:

Fred parked by the railings again, only one chain tonight, don't think he's in the mood for wandering too far.

    'night everyone

I'm liking the idea of hm laundry softener, I didn't realise it'd be ok to mix up and keep, I thought you'd have to mix it up every time.

I don't do ironing. Most of my clothes don't need it, the ones that do are fine if they're hung up to dry.

I'm lucky, I don't attract nasty bugs. Well, not of the flying kind, there's the odd ex who could be described that way!

3Dogs, I'm glad things seem to be getting clearer for you, I hope you can get things sorted soon so it's a big worry off your shoulders.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
