I just read your post re: matched betting. I was the same, had a look a few months ago and got nowhere. Still don't
so therefore, how about this. If you tell me what bets to lay and where, I will pay you 30% of the profit as commisionIe you say join here etc and place this bet and if I make £300 per month, you get ~£100
If this appeals to you, let me know
Regards
Stuart
I'll match that! Anyone with a bit of time and patience who wants to earn a cut of my winnings, send me a PMNo longer visiting these forums.0 -
I'd love to do this for people as I do it for my girlfriend on occassion (for free, dammit)
BUT
and this is a big BUT
The wording of the free bet offers means that you'd have to give complete autonomy to the person placing the bets for you...
i.e. your card details and all the other security questions that you get asked
I'd be very wary unless it was a very trusted friend or a trusted family member.

Hi DontDoDebtKids,
I wouldn't let the person place the bet for me - the idea is that they have a look at the odds and let me know which one to place the bet on. In any case, they'd have to trust me to give them their moneyNo longer visiting these forums.0 -
OK folks.
Please don't let anyone do the bets for you as they would need to know all your usernames, passwords, card and bank details. It's just far too dodgy.
But when you do get your heads around it you will wonder what the hell the problem was!

As I said on the post above yours, I wouldn't do that. The idea is that they simply find good bets for you and suggest where to put your money. I don't see where them having your credit card details came into it!No longer visiting these forums.0 -

Think I mis-read someones post!
Thought they were saying they would hand everything over and let that person have 30%! :rotfl:0 -

You realise though that over a year you could potentially be giving away more than £1,500!
Seriously you don't need to spend long looking at odds. I look for probably a maximum of 15 minutes per bet. By then I've got bored so I just go for the best one I've found! :think:0 -
I've done quite a bit of match betting myself, and I would not want the responsibility of someone elses bets, sometimes matching the odds can be easy, only taking a couple of minutes, sometimes you can spend a couple of hours looking for something close, without wanting to sound harsh, YOU really need to read and understand the concept, devote the necessary time etc before asking others to advise.
I'm sure others will agree that once you get going you havent got the time to search bookies for which you have no vested interest in, albeit for a 10%-30% cut, theres the problem of delays between people viewing the replies here and the odds changing, and then people asking for more recent odds,
I'm going on a bit, but in short, its easy to make nice few hundred very easily, but you need to read and understand before you get involved.I want to take on capitalism, but cant get the day off work....0
