Anyone thinking of doing this at the weekend, make sure that you sign up to the above sites (and Betfair!) through cashback sites where possible (eg. Quidco) and use sign up codes where possible.

Otherwise you could be losing potential gains

And remember, if you know what you are doing, then the return is always the same no matter the outcome of the bet. If you don't understand it, go through it again until you do!

I used to kick myself for just not "getting it" and finally took a determined plunge back in January. I cleared over £1000 within 6 weeks and trust me, if I can do it, anyone can!

Take a look down on the gambling loopholes board before you start and post any questions (no matter how trivial they may seem). It's one of the friendliest boards on this site!

Hey All.

I really want to get involved in all of this Matched Betting as I could really do with the money to help clear my debt.

Would any expert be willing to take me under his or her wing and help me through the process, step by step? ... maybe by PM, Email, MSN etc.....

I've read the zillions of threads and the guides and I do understand it to a degree but would really appreciate some help.

There is a sticky thread on the other board for new people and they can post their questions and bet matches on there and people will check them for you - that way you are usually never any more than a few minutes away from an answer. If you want to check your thought process work out an example and stick it on there.

If you think you've got it download the matcher spreadsheet visit Betfair and then Totesport (you dont need to register just yet) and have a look round and put some numbers into the spreadsheet. Then post your spreadsheet numbers onto the newbie thread and check its all ok with the experts - then you are fit to go as they say.
