I will try to keep this short.
signed up to a bookmaker about a year ago for sports betting, decided to use the casino, inquired about the bonus they offer and told I could get it after meeting the wagering requirement.
Did so, than asked where it was and was told I was no longer eligible.
I am down a significant amount of money so of course I am a bit miffed.
Any legal eagles know where I stand? I don't think its as simple as 'tough luck T&Cs say they can do what they want" as only bet in reliance on what they original said.

Bookmakers are there to make money. Ok that does not answer the problem. What offer did you sign up to and was it time limited? Most I assume offer a equvelent ammount that you deposited. Have you checked your transactions to see if this is the case.0

It was time limited yes, apparently I had played in the casino when I first signed up over a year ago and the time limit had expired, however this was specifically asked by me to the customer service person that I wasn't sure if I had, they said I hadn't.
They do not have a function to allow the user to check back on previous bets that far.
I know bookies can be a law under themselves sometimes, but I think consumer law has tightened up a lot around them and it is a UK based company.0 -
