How do you know it's a dog?! Not a child in a costume? They could frame you! Do you really want to sell your house to the sort of woman who drives around with a corpse in the boot? A corpse with a Tesco bag for life (ironically named) on its head?!

I have nothing sensible to add to this thread, except, thanks for making me cry with laughter at work - a rare event
    Hope it gets sorted.

I'd tell them, politely, that is it not going to be possible until after exchange, and that they should seek an alternate arrangement for now.

I find the cheek of them gobsmacking.

ware lady picking up the catalogue. Thought for a minute the dog was back.

I think i ought to call the estate agent and ask him.

I honestly think you are the seller of the week :T:T

But please don't put yourself out so much! It's obviously stressing you out.

I honestly never thought I would find a use for this "service" that I found by accident, but it could solve the problem for your buyers...

    http://www.perpetualpet.net/

Have dog freeze dried and then bury it once they have moved in. That takes the pressure off timescales.....

I am trying very hard not to laugh too hard tho - especially at the tesco bag for life!

(it is a US site - I can't find a UK one from a quick google, but it is worth a search)

    Buyer collects!

A property seller who has very recently just accepted an offer on a property does not accommodate changes to it at the buyers whim! The buyer can change their mind, lose their job, lose the buyer for their own property. It's just such a dumb request.

It is a dumb request but a very funny one!! She is obviously histerical. Just wait until he fininshes work and talk it through sensibly.

At least you've learnt something - that they were planning on getting rid of the fish. It gives you a chance to get rid of them before the sale and possibly make a few pound first. Don't rush anything as they obviously can't bury him in the pond if there's concrete underneath!

It's worth ringing them to share the problem!

Are there no 'pet cemetaries' around nearby, where they could bury it. I was trying to think of something like burying the dog in a place where they walked him, but unless they knew the person who owned a field or something, then doubt it'd be legal to just bury a dog in a park.

That's a thought, do Betterware not have a handy gadget for this eventuality?
