well it has been another busy day in our lives as sellers.

The neighbour came over when I got home from work today to ask how the pond filling went and to say "i hope you don't mind me asking, but what are the new people like"

I told them they were a lovely couple, animal lovers etc

The neighbour asked when we were moving because Elsie over the road thought she see some people carrying in a blanket and some shopping bags the other night and that if they needed any more bags, she has lots of those "supermarket bags" she never knows that to do with. I said, oh, we are decorating and some friends lent us their old dog blanket to keep the carpet clean.

I will be glad to leave this house.

p.s when the man came to bury the dog I wasnt watching him so dont know how far down he got. This evening I was watering the lobelias, when i did notice some flys circling in the air. Is this common in summer? Just a bit worried as we had them when the nights were really warm, but I did feel a nip in the air tonight

    Great dane? That's nothing.....

A few weeks ago, we received a visit from the EHO asking if he could inspect the two horse burials. These were reported in 2007, but his colleague, who had retired, had the paperwork buried among files on his uncleared desk. Having been here just under a year, these were news to us.

Anyway, we inspected the sites and all seemed in order, which is just as well. I have quite enough work already, without adding 'exhuming horses' to my 'to do' list!

Today on Relocation Relocation we are trying to help a couple looking to downsize their property. They are looking to buy a 3 bed mid terrace with 8 garden ponds.

  • Just a thought but have a look in the local paper, has anybody run over a Great Dane in the area and they are now planting (He He) the evidence in your garden.
