Following on ffrom Puddy's post, do you know why/how the dog died?

It would be a good idea to get a vet to check that it didn't die from rabies or anthrax before it sinks slowly into it's [STRIKE]mudbath[/STRIKE] last resting place.

As the mini-JCB will be going through the living room too, I’d consider requesting a small fee for carpet cleaning.

Great Danes are prone to heart attacks, a friend had one wich was only 3 years old, he got up and walked across the room and dropped to the floor, dead.

    I'd say no.

When they own they can bury what the hell they like.

Say it falls through and then you ask them to come and dig up the rotting corpse of their dog up?

They should contact a vet or funeral home for putting it on ice.

quick update as they will be here any minute,

the garden centre called at 6pm to say they cannot take the fish due to cross contamination etc (quite how I am supposed to bath myself for work tomorrow I do not know) The dog et al appear to be running late. The pond is now empty, a ton of sludge in the bottom (i think i will leave the pond liner in) and the bathroom is stinking now. fish swimming near the top etc.

who can i get to take the Koi this evening? what a mess.

This has to be a brilliant wind-up surely????????????? Ask yourself the following questions.........
Can you get a great dane in the boot of a Ka? NO, THEY ARE HUGE
Do great danes have fur? NOT REALLY
Why would there be any sort of bag over the dogs head? Esp. a 'bag for life', a bit sick don't you think of a grieving owner?
Is there anyone, unless on some kind of treatment, that would turn up to someone's house with all the kit to get on with the job?

The best line for me has to from the OP, 'would give them bacon, but we've only got Danepak.' Superb.............
