Do I offer to help them? We normally sit down and have dinner around 7 ish. Tonight is fish and chip night.. do you think I ought to ask them if they want anything from the chippie or should i just show them through to the garden (as we dont have side access so entry through the living room) and let them get on with it.
Suggest Dogfish and chips or hotdog in batter.Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to p*** us off.0 -
My friends have a horse buried in their back garden. Well I think the horse was buried there before the house was built in the 1950s, but there's a headstone in the corner of the garden! I guess it might be a well loved dog but I think the name on the headstone points to an equine... can't remember what it was though... cloppy?
this is hilarious btw, real or not, will be logging on this evening to find out what happens....0 -
I would offer them bacon but we only have danepak.
Oh I am so worried about tonight though. Hopefully they will just get on with it.
Checked the pond again, this draining job seems to be taking a while.0 -

Anyway, thanks for your input guys. I have got to go and prepare the garden, rehome the fish in the bathtub and sort out the electric lighting around the pond area (forgot about that!) so I will update you if anything happens later. If it drags on, i will update tomorrow.
