And just think of the debt going down when you are wanting that cigarette! I am sure you will do very well on it. On the subject of weight if you need a spare stone I have one to give away LOL.

Yay for you making that decision termoil! :T:T:T Very best of luck with it! Are you getting any support? I don't know how it works in the UK but over here we have quitlines and mentors and groups that give support. Apparently they have a great success rate, even better than just the patches/gum on their own.

Re the knitting - if you have a Lidl near you check out the website as there are some knitting things coming up - scarf wool and cheap needles. Will keep your hands busy! I find knitting or getting absorbed in something like that stops me nibbling on choc biscuits!

  • Well its so far so good!!! I've been keeping myself busy, I've sorted out the linen cupboard and cleaned out the fridge, might even tackle the oven later if I'm feeling energetic. I've got work tonight then that's me off until Wednesday next week (I cant wait haha!)

I have decided on a drastic new look so I have booked myself an appointment at the hairdressers for tomorrow. Cut and highlights!!! My hair is half way down my back so tomorrow it is all going to be lobbed off!!! I quite fancy a layered bob, quite short with blonde highlights (always wanted to be blonde but was never allowed!) and the blonde should disguise the strands of grey that seem to have appeared over night!

I don't normally wear make up but this is going to be part of my new look so I am off into town later to buy some new stuff seen as though my daughter seems to have claimed what bits I had.

Next on my hit list of a new me is going to be glasses (i want some new ones) I have thought about contact lenses but i cant put drops in my eyes without being squeamish so I don't think I would get on very well with contacts.

Another thing I want to try is tooth whitening, but I can't afford for the dentist to do it so thought about buying a kit to use at home. Can anyone recommend a good one?

Anyway enough ramblings on from me, I better take pup for his walk.

    Have a good day all

  • Been out for a long walk with pup and im now drenched and feeling sorry for myself. I want a ciggy grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Whilst I was out Ive bought a crafe away (plastic ciggy) so im sat here typing this and having a puff. Doesnt taste too bad and alot better than a "real" ciggy. Im just wondering how on earth I am going to manage at work tonight as it wont be that busy :(

Ah well keep on plugging away I WILL NOT SUBMIT TO THOSE NASTY CRAVINGS.....IM STRONGER THAN THAT!!!

  • Oppppsss not been on here for what seems like ages!!!

Kids are back in school/college and im getting my backside in gear tidying up after the holidays.
I had a fantastic time away in Devon and would say to anyone who was thinking about going away on their own to just bite the bullet and go!! I had sooo much fun and met afew lovely people. The hotel was lovely and the sauna was great and best of all I took hundreds and hundreds of photos with the camera that I treated myself too whilst I was away (would of been a shame to miss out on such a great bargain!!!)

Back to the grindstone today with cleaning and sorting out. Need to do a meal plan and sort out the weekly shopping budget as I think this month its going to be abit tight as I overspent on the school uniform budget!!!

    Hi termoil!

It's been a while...and it's very, very nice to see that you are doing so many positive things. Well done! :D

Well done on the ciggies: paying off the money you would have spent on them just makes it even less likely that you will go back. :T

Keep well and keep us up to date. :)
