it's definitely a mix of old and new Sally. I am a much more confident person generally - inside and out. I always came across (pre-Cruella) as bubbly, confident etc but inside I was shy, insecure and had no self esteem. I'm now not afraid to say 'no' and I will stand up for myself - and I know how to be assertive when needed.

There are bits of the old me that had been utterly stamped on and almost stamped out, mostly by OH. But they have come back recently and heaven help anyone with the energy to take me on :rotfl:

I have lots of energy for life and even though day to day stuff can be dull and pants, I feel as if I'm on some kind of constant sugar rush high. That's partly diet related as CD does produce that sensation, but it has snowballed into other areas of my life.

I'd love to see Cruella in a work related situation now and look her straight in the face smiling with daggers in my eyes.....

funny how life takes us in different directions...if I hadn't lost my job I would certainly not be where I am now....and other people wouldn't be where they are now..

We have seen births, deaths, marriages, divorces, job losses....house moves, everything you could ever think of...(yes I have had a wine...)

BB - This will sound very cheeky - so I apologise now....but......with your your new found confidence, can you please assure me that I can have a ringside ticket when you tell your OH to "jog on"
