TOTM Lucifa? Pants to hormones.....still on the plus side you could have been feeling much worse if you hadn't been the gym....have a :grouphug: anyway...

I have spent two days trying to sort my finances out. The only problem with working for yourself from home is that I have a tendancy to let things slip....and I have. So I have gone back to basics and done the MSE Budget planner. Shocked to find that even if I plan for everything I am supposed to I am supposed to have a surplus. So obviously tighter (or even just some!) control over the finances is going to have to be implemented...so back to a spending diary for me.

I have looked at the piggybank way of sorting my money out and hopefully I will be able to implement that one...(hopefully I won't get confuddled)....

I just hope I can stick to it...

    Morning all

Still feeling pants with this ruddy cold. :(

DD2 is going to a party tomorrow and has run out of money for pressies so we made a bag for her friend.....will pop the piccies on my blog later. I really do need to make a supply of stuff up to keep in the pressie box.

Made a funky crochet flower broach to go on the bag too as well as finishing another crochet square of my next blanket.

Have just rejigged money around in the bank and put a whole £4.56 in my ISA :T

And now following a sneezing fit, I'm going to go boil my head.

The plus side of being my age is that hormones don't bother me anymore - in fact having a depo injection instead of taking the pill was a wonder. However, what can I now but crappy mood swings down to - men surrounded by them!! Hope you all have a great day - my friend still very poorly and we now face biopsy's so rough ride ahead for a while and sadly no light at the end of the tunnel IYGWIM!! Billie x

Have you thought of advertising for a car share?

  • Morning everyone,

I can empathise with you on the hormones and the NEED for chocolate when it's TOTM. In fact I know bypass the chocolate and cover rich tea bikkies in vanilla flavour butter icing!

Pooky, hope you feel better soon and look forward to seeing the pics of the bag later. You might want to have a look at the blog called UK lass in US, unable to post the link as the site is blocked at work.

Sal, is there anyway you can car share?

Sammy, you will be ok. I think we're allowed to step off the dfw band waggon for a short while otherwise we'd go mad.

    Hello to anyone I've missed!

    Lots of love,

    Morning all...

Joining you in the crappy mood section-well, not so much hormonal as tired/stressed/worried camp.

Woke up at 3.50 am crying, upset belly and with my neck spasming-all down 100% to stress I am completely sure. Lay awake until 5.20 and then woke up again at 7.30.

Have just called County Training and they are calling me back regarding work based training. I really hope there is a way we can afford for me to do this.

Anyhoo-my finances are in a complete melt down-spent money in amsterdam not knowing I would be out of a job the next day-I am not sure whether or not to call CCCS and tell them I have been made redundant A-PHOQUING-GAIN and can't really afford to make a payment this month or to just bite the bullet and pay it?

I think that even though I have been given 4 weeks paid notice and not having to work it-I really won't get a pay cheque because the company I worked for pays 4 weeks in advance (stupid, I know) and I had taken holidays I wasn't yet entitled to. (Hadn't earned that many days yet if that makes sense?)

I am also really upset that all the hard work I put it will be lost so have to write a detailed email to my manager and tell them where I was with things-they havent asked me to do this-I just feel bad that I have sold a feature to a couple of companies and now they won't be getting the service/advertising they were expecting. They haven't paid yet but think they are going on air! !!!!!!, what a mess
