    Right-does anyone know-my manager from work has said she will back up whatever I have said as to why I no longer have a job in regards to any job seekers etc I may be entitled to.

    If I am 'fired' I am not entitled-is this true or am I talking crap?

    Bun - did they say you are fired or that they have to make your job redundant? My take is that is you are fired, they need to gve you a reason (like stealing, bad time keeping, warnings on your personel file, repeated bad work...).

    Bunny - I am a loooooong time lurker, but havent kept up with comings and goings, but I am a HR Manager, so if you want to PM about what has happened, I will see if I can help.

    It is correct that you can be penalised for JSA if you leave your job through misconduct etc however if I understand you were made redundant, which is a whole different matter.

    I am also of the impression that if you were under a 'probationary' period and that you weren't kept on after your probationary period that that was not fired.

    I've put washing away, given the boys theirs, but Nathan is again refusing to do anything, threatened him with phoning his father and he said go on then and gave me his phone!!! Any ideas? cause i'm banging my head against a brick wall here
