Morning all.. hugs for hormones and colds and general crappiness.

I am tired, just for a change, keep waking up really early... hoping the extra exercise might help a bit. Off swimming tonight :)

    Good morning

Had a lie in this morning,

just had my porridge and a cup of coffee and mt tummy is not hurting its too full, so i presume my stomache has shrunk over the weeks.

Its raining here so i'm glad i got all the washing done yesterday, just got a white top in the machine which i soaked over night in diluted bleach to try and get a mark out of it (keeping my fingers crossed it will be gone when it comes out of the machine)

Need to do a general tidy around, then I'm going to put washing away and get cracking with the ebay stuff now i got batteries for the camera.

Then i need to find the guillotine for Nathan. So he can make some cards.

I'm all :D now.....a very, very talented MSE person just sent me a water colour that she's done of DD2 - it's stunning. I shall pop it on my blog later as I want to keep them secret from DD's so FB is a no-no.

Have run the hoover round, sorted washing and sorted the dishwasher and now utterly shattered....DD2 has offered to hoover upstairs, DD1 has offered to clear the ironing pile tonight.....I must look really ill............or they want money.;)

aww thats lovely Pooky, glad the girls are helping, I can't get my two to do anything without threatening them with being grounded or bribing them.

The only reason Ben (dd1) did anything for me yesterday was cause i threatened to ground him, then he lied to me and said everything was done and his bedroom was clean. So i let him out. (wasn't home to check) when i went to put clothes upstairs yesterday his b edroom was a pigsty :(

I'm off for a few hours now :) gonna get some stuff done

Glad you added the bit about the card making, Claire! I was wondering what he'd done wrong to deserve being guillotined!! :D

Sammy is right, don't put too much energy into it - I can understand wanting to leave things as complete as you can (I put in a huge effort when I left my last job even though they were sh*t, I guess it was for my own peace of mind really) and I guess if you ask them for a reference in future it looks good if you have done this, but don't stress over it too much.

  • I was told I would get a glowing reference but my main concern is the people who I dont want let down, thats all.

    won't waste too much time.
