Believe me it would. Having to fit work around little one at the moment which means me working at about 20% of full time. Hopefully when he starts school our earnings will increase somewhat. Also I have a terrible spending weakness when it comes to the children - as you can probably gather. No no more babies for me our family is definitely complete.
Chill/work day at home today. Need a quiet on before a big weekend. Though I say quiet I've got heaps of housework to catch up on - ironing and bedrooms which I hate doing with a passion. Well pretty much everything needs doing. Plus work prep for tomo. Sigh. Still it's amazing how much you can get done when your at home all day and the boys will be helping me as punishment for their bad behaviour yesterday.
So to do list
Tidy my room and sort anything for eBay/present box
Same with boys room
Check present box and see what we have for Xmas already.
Work prep
Ironing
Bathroom
Hoovering
Don't spend lol!MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

Hi Roxie,
I've been reading your diary and your other thread. I think you're doing really well. Hope today goes as planned for you

You have a good to do list Roxie, may inspire me to get up and get going with the housework!
Have a good day!0 -
Evening all! Well I was a tad optimistic with my list in that my work prep for tomo pretty much took all day. Its so difficult with the kids at home as I really need to concentrate but obv because of the little one I cant take myself off to another room so I find I'm constantly shouting at them when they're making noise and arguing. But anyway a least I'm not having to send them off to a childminder and I can chose when I'm working as long as I make my deadlines.still on days like today when I really need to get stuff done it's not nice for them and then I feel guilty. They're fine if I let them play on computer games all day lol but there comes a point where I have to say it's time to do something else. This is what frustrates me about the fact that they have a bedroom full of toys!
No spend day today so that's good (:
Got to travel to manch for work tomo so that's train fare and lunch but unavoidable. And I'm going to take my flask if coffee if I remember it this time! So OH is at home with them all day tomo. He asked me how much he could have to entertain them with and I said nothing lol. He can see how hard it is (:
The good news is there was £30 lleft in the weekly budget so we've ordered a curry to share lol. And hopeful,y there will be enough to take the boys to see shrek on Sunday. There is a cinema near us where it is £2 entry per person so fingers crossed we can do that. And there's enough food for the weekend. Oooh and were going to a BBQ tomo night so that's a free meal although we have to pay the babysitter. But it should still be a cheap fun night out.
The bad news is that its time to pay the remainder on our holiday in Cornwall in sept. £320. Also need to have a convo with OH about when we go if there is extra in the budget or if its the same. Still really looking forward to it as we haven't had a proper family holiday this year with dex being so young. Just hope the weather is nice then we can make the most of it. Where can I get info about free things to do in Cornwall? Ive never been. Any tips?MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

Ooh forgot about the todo list. Didn't do mine or the boys room but checked what gifts I'd already bought and am feeling that might have been abit of a mistake. Basically I bought a lot of bits in the boots 75% off sale but now it looks like a load of tat. I dont know if it's because I know how much I paid for them

Well another night another money argument. I thought goin to a BBQ tomo nigth would be a nice cheap night out but now dale wants to get taxis there and back so that he can have a drink. So that will treble the cost.MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j
