Sorry, I didn't mean of the final solution, the clue reads -

The pattern from inmates will lead to the truth
    > following on from the fishscale patterm, Mrs Overall's idea was that 'the truth' might relate to the Christian fish symbol, the ichthys

Word two you must find then flog the wrong way
    >> the ichthys symbol represents an acrostic, the second word is the Greek word christos
If flog the wrong way is golf then we need to join Christos and golf somehow to get to the final solution

There's plenty of businesses called Christos but I'm not finding anything to do with golf

If you are still looking at golf clubs in woking then Woking Golf Club which was built and designed for golf mad barristers in 1893 is also referred to as HookHeath Golf Club this would fit with the fish scales thoughts.

It is situated in Pond Lane just up from the Church in St Johns.
If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.

I'm still struggling with this one, but along that lines that in golf, homeward usually means the back nine.I like your idea crin, I can see a link between scales (second word) of justice, truth (the whole truth and nothing but the truth!) so a golf course for barristers sort of fits.

then maybe there is something in those muriels.

If you think that there might be a clue in the murals, then perhaps this virtual tour of the museum of childhood might help.

I'm off to have a virtual look around now.

E.T.A. Sorry, just realised the murals are on the exterior walls, so this is of no help, unless the clue is somewhere else in the museum and not part of the murals.

Just a reminder too, that it says this on the cashhunt site:-

"And remember to keep checking back because from time to time random hints will appear somewhere on this site to help you, but they won't stay here for long."

So its worthwhile if we all keep popping back to the site to check.

I dont check as often as I should, but in all the time that these comps have been running, I've never found anything - including the other month when there was a roll-over:rotfl:

Just a thought could the second word be green, from Bethnal Green, sort of fits in with the flog/golf part

    My Guess was:

    Puttenham Golf Club

'one of the oldest golf clubs in Surrey' and 'originally formed in 1894 by a group of Army Officers, Charterhouse School Masters and local businessmen'

We have been thinking that it is
golf club, but what if the word two that we must find is the second word of the solution, so that would mean that golf was the last word of the solution, so for example "
    mini golf"?

I have to admit I was thinking along those lines myself.
