Evening! I spent 3 hours flying in my classroom today and it looks much better. I'm now not going back to it until September!

onestep - hope you are coping and that you have strong painkillers. Gentle hugs - I know what it's like. And ignore serena as I doubt you can put photos into albums or polish silver one-handed!

short_bird - thanks for the name ideas but the no-name furries are all girls!

Triker - hope you get it sorted x

Dusty - ooh, enjoy! I want to go to Alton Towers!

Jenny - glad you had fun! Photos .........?!!!

    net78 - welcome

    MrsChaos - congrats to DS1

LW - piccies heading your way soon x

Ought to see if I've achieved any of my list .............

    Kitchen - done!!:D:D:D

Quite a bit of flinging too - a bag of clothes to Oxfam, two bags of magazines to freecycle, and a bag of books ready to go next time I'm passing the Oxfam bookshop.

My car's in the garage today - and tomorrow as well apparently, as Things Are Not Right. OH spent all of dinner moaning about and I nearly threw the salad at him. I didn't ask for him to book it in for an MOT and an annual service and check the steering and the brakes now did I??? I'd have done them separately, so how come it's suddenly my fault??

Walked into town (and back) with DD and DS2 to buy cards and wrapping paper for DS1's b'day on Wednesday. The town's been moved further away from the house since the last time I walked.;)

You can if they have slip in pockets. It's one of the things I made DS1 do when he complained of being bored.:D I'll let you off the silver....

I hate theme parks. I don't like rides. I don't like queues. Going strictly for the kids benefit hence why we are going to Chatsworth on the last day to de-theme.

Right bedtime for DS3 and to see if DS2 want dinner after sulking (he has been told off big time)

I need to finish the mending too this evening.

Worked flat out most of the morning, but the first job after breakfasting and loading WM was to do a couple of mending jobs. I'd left them out on the coffee table to do, and couldn't just declutter it all without actually doing the job, so sat, stitching away, listening to the radio.

Then I started on my Monday list, which for me is the living room and hallway. Hung out washing between jobs, also watered in some plants that I put in the garden yesterday. Finished my list (except I used carpet sweeper instead of vac as I couldn't muster the energy to get vac out) - and sat down for a coffee at 1230 feeling absolutely exhausted and drained.

Decided I couldn't face any more for a bit, so went for a lie down on the bed (which I'd tidied earlier), and had a 10-minute doze.

Without this thread I would never have got so much done, so in spite of getting so tired I felt really good about what I'd achieved.

When I'd had lunch I sorted out DH's clean clothes, put them in a bag, and went to see him. The OTs had set up an afternoon tea party, with a flowery cloth and the ward's best china - and cakes made in the hospital kitchen plus choccy bikkies.

Afterwards I got the bus in to town, and did a shop at S**nsb*rys.
Was supposed to go out tonight, but too tired. Looking forward to tomorrow though - an arty crafty day for carers, at some nice place out in the country - free day, transport and food.

So not much Flying tomorrow! May swipe round the kitchen a bit before I go to bed tonight, but not holding my breath over that one!
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!

Well I've had my dinner and put all of the dishes in the DW, and have hung out the washing that I put on earlier. Will collect it all in in the morning if it is dry. Am wondering whether to put another load on, as we have to dress fairly formally at the baby naming ceremony we are going to on Wednesday, and I've just spotted that the shirt I suggested Moon should wear is in the washing pile. Think I've just talked myself into it. Off I go to sort out the laundry, then I think an early night curled up with my book is a good idea. I can see why my Mum gets tired now looking after my Nana, as I'm exhausted!

Fingers crossed for as small as possible bills for all of you with car troubles at the moment.
