    ok

i have finally finished ALL the ironing I am so pleased. Although BF did offer to do it :D

    triker-bad news about the bedbugs
    Pigpen-hope everything goes to plan
mumto5- I know that DD was very unsettled when she stayed with daddy last year and that was when his girlfriend was well. They don't even know that she was sick. I am hoping that he will come down one day and explain it to them , then give them a couple of weeks to think about it rather than take them up there and tell them in his house but feel it must be his decisions but I will discuss it with him when he phones next as today is her funeral. So sad. My BF was worried that I would go back to him- No chance!

Right need to find list so I can mark some stuff off :D:D

Well I'm home for about 10 minutes before I head back out to pick Moon up from work and then go over to M&D's to feed cat and water their garden.

Had a hectic day, but I've managed to squeeze in a bit of flying still. I emptied Nana's bin, wiped down her kitchen table, loaded her DW and then put it all away after it had finished, then when I got home, I put a load of washing in the WM. I've also dusted our TV in the bedroom and aired the bed.

Had a call from Moon whilst I was at Nana's and the mechanic has called him, and instead of my car costing and extra £140 to fix (on top of the MOT and service - £180), it is now going to cost £250 as they found that the floor of my car has rotted away with rust! My Nana has very kindly offered to pay the difference in price (£150) for me when my Mum gets back from holiday, as my Mum deals with all of her bank details etc. She would've paid more bless her if she'd had her way. :kisses3: Just wonder whether she'll remember the conversation in a week's time (she has the early stages of dementia, and she keeps forgetting lots of things).

Well I'm off out again to pick Moon up from work. I may get on here again later for some Me-time.

Hugs for all who need or want them, and happy flying.

An extraordinarily busy day today. One person on holiday and two off sick so I actually had things to do which actually stretched my brain a bit trying to find out information for people! It won't last though - they'll be back soon so it'll be back to boredom again. But I shall enjoy it while I can.

Oh, and also actually managed to speak to a REAL person at the Treasury Solicitor's office AND extracted an email address from him :) I have a v. long email to compose tonight...

ETA I'll HHC alongside you Juliejim

I've pots to wash, dry washing to put away and stuff needing ironing.

You must have a one track mind!

The bed side tables mean 2 of the 4 underbed drawers are used for storing stuff long term - cos the presence of the bed side table means the drawer can't be opened - not without moving the table first!

Thank you for all the positive vibes for DS1's audition. He has passed and we are now waiting for the letter with the conditional offer of a place on the course. :j All he needs then is his GCSE grades, but he should have at least 5 (2 already in the bag). If he hasn't passed Maths he will have to re-sit it and it will take him a year longer, but he can still get on the course.

  • Hello I'm back. Cornwall was dry/wet/warm/cool ......lovely whatever the weather. Even got to have a sail with DD.

What a suprise when I opened the front door. The house looked clean and tidy; then I remembered ....I did it last week with help from my flying friends on here. No sign of ds1+2, not even under their duvets. Hmmmm, maybe abducted by aliens. if they haven't arrived by dinner time I will phone ET.

Week 2 starting with level 1 please and I'll add to that laundry from weekend and washing the dogs bedding.
