Eleanor....I like hearing what exciting things people are planning for lunch, it helps give me ideas!! Today i've got ham & potato salad (salad & potatoes leftovers from last night's tea). A muller yogurt and a couple of apples. So far i'm on the straight and narrow - just 2 bought lunches this month (trying to keep beow 4). Yesterday I had a tin of soup from the cupboard and some massive wedges of bread that hubby had cut (not very well) from a loaf that were too big for sandwiches. Its really drizzley and miserable in the North East at the minute despite it being summer. I'm going to try create some pasta dishes......something warm when its yukky outside. I rarely have sandwiches I might revert back to them.0

Ooh, might try that one. Reckon I'll add a bit of cheese too :T but I guess you've also got that in the pesto... :cool:0 -

I have made the red lentil pate that I nicked off weezles "feed the family for a 100 pounds a month" thread.
Its really good with a few crackers as well, took them separately, as I was a little concerned about soggy crackers. As that was the sort of thing that used to make me go and buy a lunch, things going soggy. So, now all the dressings, lettuce, tomatoes and the like goes in a separate container.
Still going to the park, taking my fleece with me now, was watching kids racing each other and a man teasing and playing around with his dog, funny, you miss all this people watching when sat in the canteen!Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

Still going strong - had a sneaky cheat day today, 1 of the bosses is on holiday and the other one thought he'd celebrate by buying everyone in the office fish & chips (all 3 of us). So I've had a chip butty mmmmmmmm. Nice and full now, i've still got my brought in lunch (cuppa soup, banana, apple & go ahead biscuits) so I can pick at that and it'll see me through until the end of job no 2 today. Roll on 10pm.0
