does this include if you have bought stuff for a Hm lunch?
Bought lunches are those that you would buy already prepared from the shop like sandwiches.

Things you buy during your normal shopping and make at home are not classed as bought in this challenge.

  • Excellent challenge but I won't join in as I always have a home prepared lunch including - h/m bread, home grown salads, h/m yogurt with my own raspberries or blackcurrants.

Anyone can do this, it just takes 5 minutes to put together in the morning! Stop giving your money to someone for a service you can so easily do yourself!! Also, just a tip, take enough lunch with you so you are not tempted to go to the snack machine because you get peckish in the afternoon!

Good luck all and keep up the good work!
  • Bought lunch yesterday so have one of my strikes down. Still on track for the target though

Today i've got chilli and there is a deli closing down:( in town so i've bought some tiger tiger cup noodles that were on offer as back up so I don't fail if I forget to bring it (as I nearly did today!) and they are in my drawer at work. Determined to succeed:)

Hello again, two lapses so far but still on target (only 4 lunches bought in Aug the rest all from home). I already bought bread & soup one day & milkshake, cuppasoup & biccies another so thats 2 down 2 to go.

I've got bread, buttery spread, hot chocolate sachets, muller-rice multipack and some cuppasoups in my store cupboard at work and a random tin of pineapple chunks and sachet of oats-so-simple porridge. Combined with stuff i'm bringing from home I should be ok for the rest of the week.

Today's lunch is cupnoodles, olives (half a leftover jar), watermelon (leftover slices from one at home), and an orange

So far I've got 3/12 lunches from home:
    1) bagel and cream cheese
    2) leftover curry + yoghurt
    3) bean on toast + yoghurt

Friday tomorrow and that's the big one that I can't resist - the Friday treat from the coffee shop that costs about £4
    Must resist MUST RESIST!
Just call me Nodwah the thread killer

Hope you resist the temptation, to make it easier try and take something that you'll enjoy eating with you to work.

    Good luck

  • Well friday is fish & chip day at work....which I never take part in cos its buying lunch and i'm trying to eat healthily. (Trying) but since there's only me & the boss he's offered to buy me a bag of chips - woo hoo. My brought in lunch (packet pasta, half a chopped red pepper some bits of fruit and packets of raisins can go in the fridge/work cupboard stash). Or should I be good and eat my brought in lunch?:A

I remembered my drinks today and forgot by bagal,

So I went to the tiny tesco nearby and bought a small pack of cherries that were reduced to 55p and a bag of crisps, really do not feel as this is a fail as I could not of brought them from home, I walked past all the sandwiches and pies and the like.

  • I managed to not make lunch twice, however - today is a different story. Hurrah for fish finger sandwiches. I did have an excuse on one of the days - I had no bread!
