Yesterday I forgot my lunch, despite it being in a bag hanging from the front door handle - how did i miss it?!:embarasse :embarasse
Made up for it a bit by getting a quich at Asda's whoopsie counter for 2p for today's lunch:j
Also someone was leaving so there were cakes in the tearoom so i scoffed a couple of bits:D
Only 4 work days left in August for me, how time flies!Just call me Nodwah the thread killer0 -
Still going strong - tomato pasta brought from home today and the last of the multipacks of mullerrice. Its nice to have hot rice pud at work for lunch, but not every day! Think i'm going to make some sushi for tomorrow. I got a kit for my birthday; the rice, flavouring, seaweed and rolling mat. That will also act as my entertainment for tonight - trying to make it look anything like the stuff you buy. I wont be using raw fish though. Will put tinned tuna, crabsticks, carrot, cucumber or pepper in the middle (whatever is in the fridge).0

Cheese and tomato sandwiches today - bit boring for me but still didn't waiver. Not too long to go. Thursday will be hard as it's payday and it will be soooooo tempting to give in!!

Didn't get into the motivated mood and make my sushi to bring in....BUT today i've got a packet of pasta (can make in the microwave) and a tin of sweetcorn to mix in, half a tub of strawberries and half a banana. I'm determined not to have any more spends, as I checked my bank before buying my monthly bus pass this morning, and i'm £61 in the red.....hurry up payday (Thurs for job no2, and Fri for job no1). Thankfully my overdraft doesn't charge for the first £250. Phew0

Running low on supplies (shopping day is payday which is this weekend)
Today i've thrown together greek salad (bits of leftover feta cheese, cucumber and the last of a jar of olives), some bread - toast possibly, and a few slices of watermelon that was hiding in the back of the fridge.
After watching the great british waste last night, i'm going to try my best to use all my scraps of food for something creative and shop around, Its quite disgraceful how much good food (and money) is thrown away just cos of a label or its looks.0 -
Have managed to stay on only 2 bought lunches now for the last week. Brought in leftover soup today so only 2 more days to go. Very pleased with myself as it's been a tough fortnight in work which would drive anyone to a pub lunch!0
