Even more shocking is the use by UKCPS of that joke debt-collection agency called "Court Proceedings Ltd". If you take a look at the latest letter chain at the top of this sub-forum, you will see that their letter-heading is specifically designed to fool people into thinking they are an official organization, instead of a two-bit company that operates out of an accommodation address in London. What nasty bed-fellows you have Mobilise.

Can anyone add a UKCPS ticket to the thread or the sticky? Both sides if possible.

    Thanks.

    Thanks.

I have extended this plea to both the CAG and Pepipoo forums. There must be one around somewhere.

I like the way she has chosen to reply to this thread via her Disability Now column and not come on here in person.

Quite a balanced write up don't you think?

Its aim being to encourage supermarkets to issue parking tickets to non Blue Badge holders parking in disabled bays.

...and to Blue Badge holders who forget to display as well of course.

Anybody we can intimidate into sending us a cheque in fact.
  • Does she really believe all blue badge holders are not able to walk far? Surely the badge scheme covers other types of disability?

I suggest everyone register on the "Disability Now" forum and add their comments.

This still doesn't reflect the fact that the Blue Badge scheme doesn't apply to private car parks and any tickets received are only useful for starting the November 5th bonfire.

Providing spaces with a disabled symbol on them is adequate to meet DDA requirements so the rest of the piece around Blue Badges being used to meet DDA reasonable adjustment requirements is nonsense. You don't get more DDA brownie points for introducing a scam ticketing regime!

Why not be honest and state "we like the Blue Badge system being used because we get a kickback from the PPC we are partnered with".
