    Hiya guys,

I just had a craving for a drink. Out of nowhere.

Madness, when I look at how I've gone a week without one, at how ill I felt all this last week, at how much debt I'm in (and then some after the £500 loan last Saturday) and at how much I've achieved yesterday.

But then that's the irrationality of addiction I suppose!

It's passing just getting it down on here.

Jo, randomname and co - do you get these out of the blue cravings that really scare you, coming from nowhere sometimes? If so, how do you fight them?

    Thanks,

    Sim x

PS - I think a lot of it, is realising how lonely I am, how unhappy I am in my relationship with my Girlfriend, and how my Life is not how I want it.

    Sounds a bit wussy that!

Contentment, the Love of a good Woman, and a well paid, rewarding career are what I want.

    Not asking for much..

Jo - It's starting to hit me more regularly. Hence I really need to crack it.

I feel for you getting the cravings every day. They really are b*ggers aren't they?

I think the crux of it yesterday, was realising just how useless and wishy washy my local Substance Misuse Team were - are!

You're spot on about keeping busy.

I'm off to finish the tiling in my bathroom!

Have a great day at work Jo.

    :)

I had all those and lost them (and a lot more) through alcohol.
