No worries SSG, like I said - wasn't having a go. I do a good job of pushing the situation to the back of my mind but sometimes something someone says or does brings it all to the front again. Not a bad thing necessarily.

    It must be difficult.

Sometimes it's the people around us who are suffering, that's one of the things that helps me sometimes stay sober, though it didn't even occur to me last night...

I was out the shower, in my jammies, lying on my bed and before I knew it i was up drying my hair, dressed and off to tesco, and even as i was walking into the shop, kept saying to myself you shouldn't do this, buy something else for a treat but the other part of me was saying no it's vodka i want.

I feel a bit disappointed but it's not the end of the world.

    Onwards and upwards I hope:)

SSG, been there auto pilot takes over literally, you know your going to do it.

Today I'm not going to have a drink because I want more of that sleep that actually feels like it's doing me good. Dark circles are fading after 4 days.

You know what, I don't know

OH is going out tonight and I don't like cooking unless there's someone to cook for...so prob beans on toast :)

Bit strange here, only 4 of us in the building, ones at lunch, another one cut himself (v deep _pale_) with a stanley knife so the other remaining one has taken him to hospital. I've been instructed to stay in the office and lock the door from the inside and not answer it
