    Time for bed.

Can't believe I've been on the BT website at this God forsaken hour!

At least I've paid off my £50 BT bill though (3 months arrears).

All paid off now, and the 'recent usage' call charges only amount to £4.00 not due until November - will set up DD nearer the time.

Feel much more on top of the phone bills now. Have got myself a GiffGaff (Google it. Brilliant new network!) SIM card recently, and brought my old number across. Have spent grand total of £7.50 for 2 months of calls / texts (paid up until end of October). Huge saving which feels great.

Treating myself to a haircut later.

God, I'm turning into such a Woman! :)

5 weeks sober tomorrow. Feels good.

Night night all (to those who are still awake..)

    Sim xx
  • 1 more AFD please Shaggy!

i can't say that about today though, which is sad, seeing as we are less than 2 hours into Friday, but I have opened a bottle of wine since coming in from work - I got in around 12.30am.

Our (as in my ex and me) "marital" home sold yesterday. That's less than a week since going on the market. Sh*t! Cash buyers too, so things should move very quickly now.

So I am looking for somewhere to live and I am feeling very anxious about everything. Got a brick in my stomach and chest which I know is anxiety and it's not pleasant, but hopefully it will pass at some point and if I am lucky, sooner rather than later.

I have a very limited budget for rent, although things have improved now have my part time job. I did my 2nd shift last night and it was better than the first, so here's hoping it will improve steadily and I will conquer the mind-numbing tedium of shelf stacking, LOL! ;)

I'm viewing a room to rent on Thursday, so fingers crossed the owner/occupiers are nice and we get on and the room is ok. It's £320 pcm inclusive of bills.

Can you tell I can't sleep?? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good job uni doesn't start until Monday. At least I have tomorrow daytime free, so I can sleep in. I certainly don't feel like sleeping at the moment.

I wish everyone a lovely Friday.

    Hugs

  • Cazza I would not worry about the wine after the emotional roller coaster you have had recently and good luck with the room on Thursday and Sim you are doing great what with the 5 weeks and all :T

Ok, this is a a weird one, but if alcohol was totally taken out of existence as of tomorrow (don't ask me how!) would you be fine or turn to a different substance?

I suspect I would be fine. I'd miss it on occasion, but generally be ok.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
