Pretty please
Ummm - remember I said I am going to stop job hunting and said that I will stay put and not move? Ummm - I have interview next week about 110 miles away, so if I get the job it means moving. I couldn't have written more perfect job description for myself, it is just question of: if they like me, if I like them, if the location is going to work, if they will support my studies...

Sounds good Marru. Would it worry you having to move?**Keep Calm and Carry On!**0 -
Oh! Thought it was tonight but I suppose a Friday would make more sense.

Ok, this is a a weird one, but if alcohol was totally taken out of existence as of tomorrow (don't ask me how!) would you be fine or turn to a different substance?@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? It is going to be a bit of a mere as my decluttering hasn't been exactly efficientAlready looking at good school guide and rental properties
Also it would be a full time job so bit worried about having energy for studying
Glad that Piglet had nice first day."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Multitasking - watching BBC2 and trying to figure out how to get my bills paid
just realised that I don't have enough to cover couple of outstanding cheques  at least rent is paid.

Evening All
5 AF for me today
Am Chuffed!!
Sim - Well done for staying so strong and positive, sometimes moving forward can be scary, but that's a good thing. I once read that if it feels safe and fuzzy, it's probably the alcoholic way, and if it seems scary and huge and emotional, then it's probably the sober way!
HB - Having tried most other substances during my youth (there are a few new ones around now!), I always found alcohol was the only one to hit my buttons. I will admit coming close to being addicted to one drug, but was able to pull myself away. Deep down I had the image in my head of the stereotypical drug addict and refused to let myself ever get like that. Alcohol is socially acceptable, illegal drugs aren't. Drinking too much takes little or no effort, buying drugs is more difficult and the risks appear greater (prison, etc). I think if alcohol disappeared tomorrow, I personally would be a lot happier(!!!!) although I realise 99% of people wouldn't, and I would hate to be a killjoy!!
Hugs to all that need them, I'm off to make another ton of chicken soup!!
