Spent on food again today - to the tune of £11.70, including £3.30 on Whoopsies worth £13.15 (when I nipped back down at 7:30pm)
Unforunately most of the Whoospie spends (£2.44 for goods worth £8.71) were treats we could have lived without
Didn't get any milk, as Mr M didn't have any of the 1% stuff in. The large offer sign was missing (so not sure if it was meant to be there yesterday or not - we're meant to remove these if out of stock on something, so could have been taken down for either reason) but there were two shelf edge tickets - one for 50p and one for full priceCheryl0 -
I use vetuk for cheap frontline and drontal. There's lots of others around too. I occasioanally get worming tablets from the vets as I think they may be a bit better than drontal but they are around a fiver each!
I use Vetuk too for the cats frontline, though last time I found it marginally cheaper on bestpetpharmacy but either are far cheaper than the vets or supermarkets.
http://www.bestpetpharmacy.co.uk/
I get Skippys worming tablets from the vet though as drontil are so huge I just can't get them down her - had a very scary choking episode with one once and decided it wasn't worth the stress for her or the trip to A&E for me :rotfl:
Small spendy day for me today, £5 on getting my eyebrows threaded (sure the woman had to sprint across the shopping centre as one of the caterpillars tried to crawl off my face) and £1 for a colleague at work for the gym - but he did buy me a Greggs sasuage roll the other week and is always buying us cakes so I'm not asking for it back.
Have been over at my mums this evening clearing out my old room (uninhabited since I flew the nest over 10yrs ago) for it to be decorated and found £1.62 when I moved the bed, and a bunch of bits for the car boot in a few weeks.
Hoping for a NSD tomorrow as we're having pizza for lunch at work so I shouldn't need to head into town.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Friends are coming over with their icklies tomorrow so got to get some food in tomorrow morning so will spend then, but good news is that dh has started his new job training this week and looks like lots of hours next week so we will have more £ coming in at long last:jMortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Hello, well I am amazed at myself..... I expected today to be a spendy, as I was low on milk, butds2 came up at dinnertime and gave me a 4 pinter with 5 days to run as he is going to his aunts (oh's sister) for a week so NSD 6, go me:j However the news is not all good as dd's car has been decribed as an uneconomical repair, and not covered by her insurance ,as it was malicious damage so with har excess and contribution to repair it was better to not claim and just write it off ourselves.:mad: what do we pay these insurances for?
So although it is her car, not mine, I can't see her carless and struggling with dgs, and she uses her car to make my life easier by either doing my shopping or looking after her dad while I go out. ho hum nowt is easy:)0 -
Well, here it is....Join in if you feel so inclined (you know you want to)
You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine,
You make me happy when skies are grey (and they certainly were today),
I didn't go out,
Not spent a penny,
I've got N-S-D 4 today!
Haven't had a chance to hit many thanks buttons in the last few days so will try to catch up tomorrow (I've got some lovely people in Taiwan, Switzerland and who knows where trying to add some malware to my poota the last couple of days. Luckily Mr Norton is blocking them but it ain't half annoying seeing the 'An intrusion attempt on your computer has been blocked' box come up every few minutes)
ETA: Make that every 30 seconds for the last two hours :mad:Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!
