5 page's!! I'v only been away overnight finly got my meal that OH promisted me and the place did real ale's so I was very happy when they said they had vacence's so seeing as OH paid I can claim another NSD,now I'll go catch up on what I'v missed.

Managed to get my first NSD of the month yesterday. Nice to get up and running again - now to build up some decent numbers!

I'm reporting early again today - both of us in house all day, except for doggie walkies, so no chance to spend giving me NSD NUMBER 3 to record please Mistress Spoon, Great Guardian of the No Spend Days Thread - no chance tomorrow as shopping day and will probably be travelling to Banbury to see MSE friend MouseAnn in hospital after breaking her hip - I will update my signature niow

No NSD for me, I took K out for lunch and tried to find a cable for my PS3.....which I got online for 2.50 inc P+P...bargain!

Lovely pet piccies...our first dog (English Springer) used to take over our bed, so when we got Floss...a white Golden Retriever (rescue too), we didn't encourage her upstairs at all. She used to come up in the mornings once someone had let her out of the kitchen. Nowadays she is too stiff to make it up our steep staricase !

Well, today is NSD no 3...a good stretch of 3 days in a row...spending tomorrow...boys are running out of cereal!! They have phenomenal appetites, hard to keep up

Should be gardening today, but rather kn*****ed...just seem to have run out of steam since lunch. I did make a large batch of meatballs this morning as well as tomato sauce. Also helped DS2 to "rescue" his chest of drawers from my shed. Have cleaned it now and it's drying outside in the sun as I type.

The problem is he has too many clothes! He is a keen rugby player, with masses of kit: Scottish Exiles, Scotland and now the college he is starting soon. Pre-season training begins next Monday, so I have to get a wriggle on and put name labels in each bit of kit - it only came last Thursday. Hopefully now his clothes wont be spilling out of the wardrobe onto the floor .

Will have a go at clipping back some of the plants at the front, they have grown so much in the last few weeks :eek:. May not get as much done as I had hoped, but at least it will look a bit tidier...and people coming up the path won't get soaked so much when it rains!!

No no 3Dogs…I can give you the details (well, most of them ) It all started on Saturday when hubby told me that as I had done so well with my finances, getting Debt Free, etc that he would like to treat me as he had just got his bonus…..I thought oh cool! Maybe we could get a take-away! :j But noooooo…he said that he was first of all treating me to a new haircut and that I had to book the appointment before Wednesday because he had something planned for that night. So I happily scampered off to get my hair cut on Tuesday evening.

As for Wednesday, I was told to meet him at 6:15pm in a bar not far from Oxford Circus and that I had to dress up. So I dutifully obeyed and when I arrived he was there already with a glass of wine for me. He then gave me a pressie (pretty new undies – I guess a pressie for him too!!:p) then we went off to the restaurant (I still didn’t know where we were going) It was the Langham Hotel (v posh) just off Regent St and in their restaurant The Landau…..it was just unbelievable :eek:. We had a gorgeous 3 course meal and a bottle of bubbly. For the foodies out there, I had scallops to start, followed by pork and then rounded off with cheese. M had chicken liver parfait, rack of lamb and then lemon tart to finish off. Afterwards we went into the bar and I asked him if I could get us both a drink (I felt bad him paying for everything!), so we did that and then tootled off home (a wee bit tiddly) on the bus….and that’s as far as the description goes on here!!!:rotfl:

WeeJo how lovely, romantic, thoughtful, generous of your oh, if he would only give a lecture tour .............. Well today is not a no spender, my builder has just asked for another £500 so I went and got 2 weeks shopping groceries and greengrocery, not butcher or fishmonger, that will have to do later, then I phoned builder to come for his money today, 'Oh no hurry, no rush, I'll call at the end of the week' :mad: So p l e a s e can I count paying him today as the money is in an envelope waiting, and if he'd said he wasnt coming today I wouldnt have gone shopping either?
