What a lovely boy Kathy, great eyes. He deserves to be posted up here and admired and well done for doing it. Hope you're Ok to-day.
Well BigMumma, you are going to be a picture, lot of work in that outfit, getting the boots just right must be quite a pain, but hey, think of the cosmetic benefits of the Croyden facelift, just a bit of a problem finding your eyebrows of a morning..........
On a company jaunt to-day so should be spendy free, purse is empty so that's a good start to an NSD.
3Dogs, our boy sleeps in our bed as well, and he is a bl$$dy great lab!!! but he likes a snuggle and he is my baby!More than Two Years in
Doing it the Niddy way:j:j:j0 -
Kathy - lovely photos!
Our dog sleeps in our bed too - usually on my head, he waits until OH is asleep and then creeps up to me for a cuddle and stays all night unless he's hot.
Today is a spend day and I have to say I'm quite looking forward to it - going shopping:eek: for some new clothes using savings - having tided up the wardrobe etc I have discovered that I have virtually nothing to wear to work (they have a strict buisness dress code) in Sept, so I'm going to try to find a few things that are reasonably priced that will last a good while.
Although saying that, why is it that when you decide that you're going to buy things you can never find anything and when you have no money there's loads you want? We'll see. I won't go bonkers - promise (can't afford to).
I'm also looking forward to being out of the house for a few hours!0 -
Morning all,
Yesterday was NSD1 so off the mark. :j
Really fancy a sausage bap in work but sticking with my brought in cereal to save loosing a NSD today! Thats what I love about this challenge, really makes you think about every spend penny0 -

Yesterday was NSD number 3 for me - yay!
jintyb - I have to agree with your husband, it's most definitely a load of nonsense; however, if you're still not convinced, I'm sending over a free lucky charm to you for all your postings on the forum which keep the community spirit alive and encourage everyone with MSE ways! ... :A
Have a good day everyone and good luck with collecting more NSDs!
Thanks for that, Chris, that really made me feel better! Sometimes you can lose all perspective on things! :A
3dogs & PDD
I'd love to have our doglet up beside us at night, but he's a wriggler and takes over the whole bed. When we're away on hols he gets to sleep with us and we end up on each edge of the bed while His Majesty has all of the middle and the lions share of the duvet. Who says its a dog's life?:rotfl:

Good morning all!
The other week, I got stopped in the street by a woman asking me to "buy a lucky charm from a gypsy" I said no, but since then all these things have been happening. OH says thats a load of bo$$ocks, and I'm hoping you guys will say the same - I'm a worrier about that kind of stuff. Sorry for the long rant!:(
I'll check back later, have a lovely day everyone!:)
Hi jinty
Your OH is right, it's a complete load of b0££ocks...... Trouble with us humans is that we always remember the bad things.. From your posts on here, there have been some good things - your M&D giving you money for the vet bills is one thing I can remember. If you think about it I'm sure you'll remember some more.
Life goes in cycles, up and down, you're going through a down bit at the moment. Because you're worried about puss and doglet everything else is getting you down - so work seems more of a pain than if you were bright and bouncy when it probably wouldn't worry you, the same with your neighbour.
Don't worry about the rant, you rant away, getting it off your chest is much the best way.
Take care and have a good day

Hello folks
I'm off the mark - Tuesday was NSD no.1 for this month, just I didn't have a chance to get on here to declare it! Spend day yesterday (milk money due at work) but at least it was a minimal spend. Should manage NSD no.2 today - I'm on a late shift at work so will be too knackered to open my wallet!Mortgage-Free Wannabe!
