Don't be silly Kerri, all NSDs are good!! Welcome to the [STRIKE]madhouse [/STRIKE] thread!!

I cannot believe that - how could they have been so heartless? That is absolutely outrageous.

To be fair to the vets, they couldn't have been nicer when we got there, I dunno, perhaps when you deal with that all the time it's easy to become a little detached, esp on a Friday evening when your weekend is about to start. :(

Thanks for the welcome, it's nice to meet everyone on here :)

    :hello:

Oh my goodness thank you all sooooo very much :heartpuls:heart::heartpuls:heart::heartpuls

I am really swept away by all the messages, too many to thank you all individually I really am touched, it's lovely to know there are so many nice people out there :heartpuls

The man who came to collect Orphan was really nice which helped. He came at 1.00 and I almost didn't let him in-heard a tap but no mad barking following it so thought it couldn't be my door then realised....he seemed to understand what I meant when I said though. I had probably calmed down a little by then, well apart from obsessive cleaning and washing machine full of tuggy toys and bedding to take to Maxicare. Couldn't face the A45 though so will take them next week. Made myself go out in the afternoon for a wander just to come back in, don't think I could have taken coming in tomorrow after first day back at work to no welcome if I hadn't made myself have the experience today............probably still won't :(

Last night seems like so far away everything still feels surreal. I'm going to get to bed in a bit, will be so wierd not having him asleep on the bed :(

Feels very still, there's been animals of some sort in the house since 1987 when I moved in, cats then dogs then more dogs........Rainbow Bridge must be busy today just with mine :o

Sorry I'm not really up with everyones news, hope peeps are okay, will catch up tomorrow. Just wanted to say thank you all so much xx

    :hello:

(((((hugs))))) Kathy i am so sorry for your loss, but you have been amazingly brave today, hope you're doing ok....

((((hugs))))) Sequeena too, hope you're feeling ok, & don't feel guilty for indulging in a little rubbish, i think you deserve it!!

Number 1 is proving a little elusive this month, but will be tomorrow if it kills me. Had to get fruit today for work (i WILL eat healthy!! :D), but am really proud of myself for walking to & from the supermarket (about 4 miles each way), so the bus fare can go in the savings pot, & I can feel like i might actually be fit again one day :D

Nargle, can't wait to see your outfit, but am a bit worried you'll fit in so well with the chavs we might just lose you!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Kathy, big hugs. What an awful shock you've had; be kind to yourself and as 3dogs said, allow yourself to think of all the happy memories. Take care xx

NSD 1 on Sunday. But yesterday I had to pay for my dressmaking course (money isn't actually out of the account yet but they only take when the class is full so I'm counting it as paid already) and today I did a mystery shop which meant I spent more money than I intended to buying a few bits and bobs.

Right, I'm signing off for the night. G'night all :)
