Ok, just had dinner and was reading through the complete thread...

Kathy, i am so sorry for your loss - we had to 'make the decision' about my best furry friend Guinness last sept and when I phoned the vet I was asked 'Can it wait until Monday as we're just closing now' when I told them no it bloody well couldn't I was then told 'well bring him down now but you'll be charged extra as it will be classed as out of hours' all i could think was OMG! do you have no idea that I have just taken the decision that it's time to let me best furry friend go and you're asking if it can wait! ... so I have a small inclination of how you are feeling. In a way though, even though you weren't prepared, it is a small comfort that Orphan slipped away peacefully in his familiar surroundings. Big hugs xxx

Apologies to anyone who I might have offended by referring to my NSD day challenge of 8 paltry - I was somewhat in awe of all you 'pro's' who get into double figures!

To clarify my rules, DD don't count as I already budget for those separately, but anything where I have to get cash or a card out does count. 1 NSD so far this month, would have had one on Sunday as OH took me out to the football, but had to spend 30p at Paddington to use the toilet (and there was no chance I could cross my legs for 25mins until the train came!) Will aim for NSD #2 tomorrow as I know I need to top up on petrol on Thurs (there's a cheap station I know of but I only head past it once a week so am trying to be organised)

Another NSD here, just need to update sig.
I have been super organised this week - walking to and from work and taking enough food for the day without me having to resort to the vending machine! I think I'm beginning to learn slowly but surel ... organisation is the key!!

I declare today to be my 1st NSD this month!! WOO!

Well done to everyone who's got at least 1 day so far !!!

1 down, 14 to go... scary. Tomorrow won't be an NSD as I'm taking advantage of Orange Wednesday and getting 2 for 1. I was hoping to go see Dinner for Schmucks but much to my horror it's not on until September 3! Oh no!
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

Hi spoon, and everyone else, I've managed my first NSD for the month yesterday. Today was a spend day and I'm hoping for NSDs tomorrow and Thurs. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for doing the thread again!

Declaring today as NSD #2 :T

This was vastly helped by the fact I finished work at 4pm, then had to get home, make a drink, get changed, pack my swimming kit, and get to the gym (about 12 mins drive outside commuter hours, but suprisingly only took about 15 tonight when I'd allowed 25) for my starters health check and gym induction (ie. setting up of program).

Appt was for 5:30pm, and we finished at 6:30pm - which would still have given me time to get home and do a Whoopsie trawl (a few bits on the bakery were calling my name ;)), but I then went for a 30 minute swim followed by shower and hairwash (using their warm water and shower gel - just needed my own shampoo and conditioner - so going to the gym has another 'pay back' angle to it I hadn't thought about secret2.gif) and didn't leave until about 7:25pm so was cutting it too fine to bother (final reduction is done at 7:30 at which point anything still worth getting flies off the shelf, and it would have taken me 15 mins or so to get there even if I didn't drop the car at home first)

Only problem is that there's a Mr T (currently a small temporary store which has been in operation for over 12 months while they rebuild/extend the previous one into a huuuuuuuge one), a £ stretch, and a B'n'M on the same complex as the gym..... so I really need to get into the habit of leaving my purse at home as I shouldn't ever need it at the gym!!!

I cannot believe that - how could they have been so heartless? That is absolutely outrageous.

Just checking in to report my first NSD. :j
It wasn't planned, as I was meant to pay for poochie's jab today, however he decided to be sickly (ewww!!) and had to cancel.
